It absolutely is abuser tactics, which sounds funny to say because all of it's being conducted via fucking Twitter. I truly and honestly believe that Kev (and the majority of trans-identified people) are covert narcissists; they adopt an attitude of being oh so sweet and caring in order to lure people in, then once they've groomed enough "eggs" via twitter, they start gaslighting (overused term, but it applies here) so that their authority will not be questioned--any dissent is VILE and TRANSPHOBIC and LITERALLY NAZISM, so no one is allowed to have even the slightest varying opinion without being ostracized. Since Kev and Co preach about how any doubt from your parents about the validity of your rapid onset gender dysphoria is indeed child abuse, the eggs feel they have nowhere else to go. This is why it's hard not to get MATI at Kevin sometimes--even though his antics are amusing to laugh at and he's an abject failure in life, I don't think it's a stretch to say that he is doing tangible harm to at least a small demographic of impressionable young people on social media.Moving the goalposts constantly, changing definitions and revising the narrative of what happened previously is a common tactic used by abusers to keep their victims in a constant state of confusion and vulnerability, constantly meek and soft-spoken to avoid setting off the abuser's ire.
(assuming Kevin does this intentionally would be giving him too much credit, but I do find it funny how many abuser checkboxes these guys tick)
Also, every single time you see the increasingly common talking point that sex is a social construct--it is yet another manipulation tactic that they employ simply because recognizing that they're male elicits tantrums out of them. If sex is a social construct and you're already 100% female, then the most obvious question is: why are you even bothering to
transition in the first place?
These are men who ebeg for thousands of dollars worth of toys, cosmetic surgeries, and any frivolous heart's desire...do you really think a mere $20k would deter Wedge if he really wanted it? That's like...two successful GoFundMes! Maybe even his sweet and loving girlfriend Kevrina would be nice enough to chip in a tenner!Aren't hair transplants like $20,000 and not covered by insurance?
