He's probably leveraging hard the fact that he can wait out the truckers and make the local governments do his dirty work for him, so he can sweep down and "clean up" after the fact and claim "Victory".

He has the media in his pockets, killed their GFM, and I would not be shocked if he's having people do the DDOS attacks on the new fundraiser site, and the local government is already foaming at the mouth wanting to Tieneman Square the protestors. Possibly even secretly looking at a way to kill them all via a bombing so they can massacre them in a horrific firey explosion they can then blame on the protestors themselves by claiming they mishandled their fuel if not outright suicide bombed the city.

If these politicians were actually smart, they would all drop the political theater, agree to lift the mandates, and do whatever they could to get the truckers to leave ASAP. Yes, they will look weak, but they already look weak, and them look weak AF is only going to worsen the longer this protest continues. Lying about the protestors, laughing at them, and calling them bigots isn't doing anything to help tension either.

These liberal politicians want the protestors gone but there is no quick way to get them out by force. Having them leaving happily and willingly is the fastest way. Sending in the military is just going to make them dig their wheels in and make this last longer.

Sounds like a good idea until you realize they have to drag them 20 miles clear of the city. You ever seen a glowing red hot drum from a dragging brake before? Ever seen a set of dual semi tires catch fire before? It's pretty nuts.

Crispy trucks lining the roads out of town isn't a workable solution. You need proper tow trucks for the job. They don't have them. Even if they did it doesn't mean they have free access to the truck to tow them. Nor does it mean that they have the ability to stop other trucks from doing the same thing elsewhere.
