Community Tard Baby General (includes brain dead kids) - Fundies and their genetic Fuckups; Parents of corpses in denial

Jesus, at least go to the bathroom to do this. Well..nevermind, there isn't a need to milk them up in that big produce section in the sky.
Why not do that in a restroom…?
You know the type of inconsiderate and disgusting mom that sees no problem with changing their baby in the middle of a store, or restaurant, or where ever? That was Gwen, but worse.

So this isn’t a child, but is incredibly disturbing. I don’t think the mother is a cow, but still wanted to share.

First article:

Gaziely Alves Régis suffers from hydrocephalus, which is the accumulation of fluid inside the skull, due to retention. The cause was a troubled pregnancy. His mother contracted rubella during pregnancy. Still a newborn, she was discredited by doctors to have, at most, three months to live. But, this year (2017), she turned 24. What would explain this phenomenon?

Hydrocephalus is treatable. In most cases, it is surgical with the placement of a shunt – a valve whose function is to drain excess fluid. But Graziely rejected the method. Currently, she cannot see or walk, but she feels and hears, guarantees her mother, Adalgisa Soares Alves: “We talk, she smiles. Doctors may even say that she doesn't understand anything, that she doesn't have a brain. But to me, she does.”

In spite of her condition, Graziely is strong and her body looks healthy with no scabs. However, she has a fragile immune system, which made her mother, Adalgisa, quit her job to dedicate herself exclusively to her daughter.

And if you come to the conclusion that this is a family with feelings of suffering, you are wrong: “I wake up, say good morning. Everything I do, I do smiling.” Finally, Adalgisa summarizes her story: “I don't expect anything from her. I only give what I can give, which is my love. It's really love. There's no other word. I love her just the way she is.”

The second article is the mother asking for donations.

Jesus.
How did she refuse the shunt? Surely that would be down to her mother. If I'm reading that right that she could have been treated but it was a choice to leave her like this. mum is probably rinsing money from the church or public donations or something.
Anyone speak Portuguese did she say much more in the video interview?

Holy moly. This is some Junji Ito stuff.

Is the mother refusing due to dependency? If this helps her child get any sort of independence obsessive moms would hate that.

Yeah I feel like something more accurate than machine translation is needed to tell whether the parents rejected treatment or just couldnt access it b/c you never know with Google translate.

Still, jesus fucking christ. I guess the giant baby with an even bigger head look is from fluid retention.

Horrifying. So the daughter refused the shunts? How and when? Story makes no sense.

I'm going to guess that this poor woman has sustained severe damage to her pituitary gland and/or hypothalamus, which are areas of the brain responsible for growth and development of secondary sex characteristics.

It's incredibly disturbing. As previous posters have mentioned, simple hydrocephalus is treatable with a shunt. It's unconscionable that this woman is forced to exist this way.

Edited to clarify that since her hydrocephalus has been untreated for so long, it's likely that the damage to her brain is not reversible, even if she were shunted tomorrow. Brain structures do not tolerate being crushed for very long. It's actually amazing that she's not had a central (transtentorial) herniation. Holy fuck, I'm disturbed.

For some reason, it's not working when I try to add a link, but here's more information on brain herniation, which is a medical emergency. A central herniation basically just means the cerebrum squishes through the tentorium (a structure that separates the cerebrum, or upper part of the brain - the big wrinkly bit - from the cerebellum, the smaller part underneath) like toothpaste getting squeezed through a tube. Obviously, this is very bad and almost always results in brain death. https://www.merckmanuals.com/profes...a-and-impaired-consciousness/brain-herniation

Is it possible the woman also has a much more severe waterhead condition like whatever it is form of anencephaly where they still only have a brainstem but have a giant waterhead instead of missing everything above the eyes? I'd imagine a lot is probably getting lost in translation especially with just a machine translation.
