Canadian Truckers Convoy 2022 - The Leaf calls you a Nazi as he gasses you

The bugmen have voiced the same sentiment as their gov. "We can't let the truckers win"

I am the living embodiment of pettiness but I can't even understand it. Nobody likes to be wrong, but Jesus Christ when you'd rather have martial law than let people choose whether or not they want to catch the flu? You've gotta pull your head out of your ass for air at some point.
It extends beyond that. The truckers banded together because these assholes can't seem to let go of the covid mania. They refuse to correct failed policies or revise their stance. These people are still arguing about wanting to do Zero Covid strategies. That is the wellspring that all of this dumb shit comes from. They can't admit that the other side was correct. That it's a fucking cold and there is no getting rid of it. They sunk way too much in to their position to ever give it up and are instead blaming everyone else for their doomed-to-fail stupid policies.

Shades of when DeBlasio put the COVID reporter online and the denizens of my state flooded it with Deblasio Hitler memes and dick pics.
Awww, and I spent all that time just copypasting Ram Ranch in this new form too. :(

Oh well, I got at least two in there before they pulled it. It was a good way to kill time leading up to this work call.

BC is fixing to fire another swath of perfectly respectable professionals in a place where we are already so dangerously short on doctors.

BC has given a man a legal order to not discuss COVID with his son.

BC is home to Richmond, the single largest Chinese diaspora outside of China. (Or just in North America. Either way it's a shit load of em). Keep an eye on BC as the tensions rise.

Does anyone else find it kind of weird that it seems like the sticking point for a lot of protesters or anti-mandate people in general is "the kids have given up so much of their childhoods/teenager years"? Like I don't disagree necessarily, it's just weird no one talks about how insane it is that adults and seniors have also given up 2 years of their lives to this bullshit. Just because someone is 36 or 52 or 87 it doesn't suddenly make any of this justified.
I'm mad for the kids and I'm mad for myself I guess lol

The kids don't get a say in it. They can't vote. They also have zero perspective on the world and this will forever adjust how they view the world, politics, and determine what these youth will deem acceptable in the future. The rest of us are going to find our way back to the old ways and carry on one way or another.

From what the trannies on Wikipedia say, it originally had a chorus part sung by the group and a much more difficult verse part sung by a solo singer.

For some reason, we picked up the whole song and turned it into an anthem.
Bet some soldiers or something took the poem and sang it to something they knew, then it caught on.

These people consider themselves the intelligentsia who are always right and need to lead the unwashed masses of plebs.

What we're seeing right now is what happens when reality catastrophically dispels the self-image of an entire class of society. It's actually deeper than even the massive sunk-cost of being wrong about COVID - they are being broken psychologically by this.

Legislature is talking again. Some lib just proposed they officially, unanimously condemn the "intimidation of citizens and journalists and the incessant honking!" And to call on the protesters to end the occupation immediately. The motion failed to receive unanimous consent.
The stream is currently blacked out or youtube is shitting the bed.
Edit: They cut the feed it seems at the like 1:45:49 mark but I might be like 30 seconds off or so - It won't let me copy a link with a timestamp for whatever reason.

That's true but I would argue even with voting we didn't really get much of a say either lol. Some of the older kids at least might come out of this "awake".

I think they're voting, might be blacking it out for a reason

Naturally, it’s MUCH more important for kids. School is where kids learn how to socialize with others, and two years of a kid’s life is a long fucking time.

Like, as an adult with a job who doesn’t live in a shithole city, my life has more or less BEEN back to normal since this time last year. But if I had a kid, they would still be forced through this bullshit.

Truck-broken, you might say?

This subreddit seems to be deleting pro-trucker posts.

From that article, "Judge Heinrichs cited a growing body of cases that found that governments and public health authorities were better equipped than the courts to determine the best interests of children when it comes to vaccination."

What about the authority a fucking parent has to decide what their 11-year-old child should inject into their body?

This, this right here is the kind of shit the truckers are standing for.
