Canadian Truckers Convoy 2022 - The Leaf calls you a Nazi as he gasses you

Didn't see it. Anyone post this Academia superstar?

Insanely good and in no way flawed idea, lol

Ya. And people keep linking to it with out a local archive for some reason

:feels:

And the YT version has the camera "skip" right at the moment of execution everyone wants.
Not sure if there is a better angle out there, but the main jist is when public opinion sways - especially if Trudeau does something asinine like has the police aggressively move against these guys and their families - it will similarly to 1989 Romania backfire dramatically.

Yes, go do that. Go puncture the 120 PSI tires that contain roughly the same blast force as a grenade going off.

This will go exactly as you want it to and not shred your organs and bones to pulp at all.

I mean it's pretty neutral news. All the Canucks have told us how cucked the conservatives are. It was a complete surprise that they backed the truckers at all. It's just a hilarious attempt at patronization.

"Hey guys we are totally on your side, you are totally correct. Those guys over there are the bad guys. We are with you. But uhh.... Don't you think you are taking this a bit too far? Just go home we will handle it now. Even though we've fully supported it the past two years."
Yeah no Canadian here is fainting with shock. I’m not regretting my Max vote last fall.

So the Calgary AB mayor tried to reimpose vaccine passports and most of the council voted against her:

Coutts/Milk River AB blockades are quiet, but on the US side they're wanting to gather in support:

bonus hilarity, oh my god, HUMAN SHIELDS!:

Of course he doesn't post a source video, because it would show it was just someone taking a photo lol
Mayor Karen I get she's just an authoritarian. Not surprising the two-wine mom councillers (ones actually a closet case lmao) that represent the rich wine-mom wards want eternal lockdowns. Carra I don't get he's just a schizo I think that assault damaged his brain.

Calling it now, actual negotiations (not this limpdick 'thinking about it' statement from Parliament Hill) aren't gonna happen until Trudeau either gets ousted by enough dissidents in his own party or the financial loss in trade revenue becomes too great for him to ignore it any longer without going full Tiananmen 2.0. We'll see if that injunction goes anywhere.

I don't even want this scenario to happen tbh. Every time there's mention of negotiations, I end up hearing next to nothing afterwards. I get that the lefties really don't want to sit at the table with truckers because that counts as a major L for them, but is starving out the most populous province of the country really worth it?

People have called for this exact thing on Reddit, usually these are the same people who think electric long range trucking is possible.
It's absolutely possible, but tech companies and the investment into these projects is structured so poorly efforts are only scratching the surface of self driving. There are too many players in the space, so the talent pool gets fucked over by being split in competing efforts.

Start ups are designed to get a half-ass app out the door. From a tech workers perspective, why would any of us want to make slightly more being worked long hours to make a product that if you fuck up, it kills people... when building tinder 4 cats pays slightly less and affords us the time to fuck around on Kiwi farms.

I fucking hate the way the game is rigged against doing real work, and that's why I respect these truckers.

I don't know, now that it's starting to fuck American companies Biden might be able to remember it's happening for more than 10 minutes and ask his caretakers to get involved

Bears repeating again, if the truckers back down now, they’re throwing the game and have nobody to blame but themselves.

At this point I think the win condition they should be gunning for is either ousting Trudeau or completely humiliating and truck-breaking him.

"Jail all the truckers and destroy their trucks!

What do you mean all the products I want to buy are stuck at a port 1000 miles away?"
That woman severely overvalues the amount of fucks truckers have left to give about the regs. This isn't the only mandate they are pissed about. They are working cameras into our ELD's now.

I am all for truck-breaking Castro's bastard.

Great, now I'm gonna have to pay attention to TWO politisperg threads. Thanks, Obama.

The regulatory class has to keep an eye on their mindless drones at all times, you know. It's so cute the way truckers want personal privacy as if they're real people or something.

I can't see it being necessarily cheaper to have a driverless fleet of cars/vans than paying someone to drive anyways. Not when you factor in wear and tear from driving 24/7, the extra tech and billions of dollars of investment required, the army of cleaners/maintenance on standby you'd need, as well as huge swathes of land to store a fleet of cars/vans on. Not impossible, but it's just much easier to have some guy freelance for you and take on board all the maintenance, cost and liability if they crash.

It's like the automated car washes you use to get. They were everywhere in the 90's to mid 2000's. Then mass immigration kicked in, and now it's just cheaper and easier to hire a gang of romanians. They do a better job too.
