Why in the world would any attorney advise him to plead not guilty? Is it possible he wasn't shown the video? Thats really the only reason I can think of.

So there is a high high chance that he will plead guilty but for a plea deal of course. The reason being this is an uphill battle for the melon's lawyer to fight.

The reason being Melon had a ring that caught Frank at his house harassing him. All Melon had to do was call the police and say "there is a gentleman trespassing I told him to leave he is refusing please send someone around"
