Ontario courts looking to set records for injunctions here.Court grants injunction against Ambassador Bridge blockade | Archive
"The chief justice of Ontario's Superior Court of Justice has granted an injunction to end the blockade at Windsor's Ambassador Bridge. Chief Justice Geoffrey B. Morawetz [don't waste your time "Early Life"ing] made the ruling in a court proceeding Friday. It will come into effect at 7 p.m. Specifics of the injunction are being worked out, with a draft to be presented to the court when the proceedings resume at 5:15 p.m. Friday."
How things unfold tonight and whether or not the truckers hold the line at the bridge will set the tone for the rest of this movement. Hopefully things don't get messy. There are still the emergency meetings in Toronto where the province hopes to write certain emergency powers into law (permanently) and I think that citizens should really keep an eye on what goes down in the next 48 hours.
They don't seem to understand that the protestors are only obeying them out of courtesy. Keep it up and they will decide not to be courteous.
