The Department of Homeland Security 4 days ago said:
The United States remains in a heightened threat environment fueled by several factors, including an online environment filled with false or misleading narratives and conspiracy theories, and other forms of mis- dis- and mal-information (MDM) introduced and/or amplified by foreign and domestic threat actors. (...) the convergence of the following factors has increased the volatility, unpredictability, and complexity of the threat environment: (1) the proliferation of false or misleading narratives, which sow discord or undermine public trust in U.S. government institutions;

So, does this mean that PBS Newshour is now a domestic threat actor?

How many children did they rape over there to think getting involved oth Russia was agood idea? What geopolitical purpose would it serve. I know it’s rhetorical question and they’re looking to either shore up approval or there’s literal mountains of dirt that they must not have covered up just sitting somewhere over there; but I see no scenario where this ends well for anyone.

Okay so..lets say we go to Super Clown World and China invades Taiwan.

Do...The Indians and the Pakis look at each other (both border China) and say "Uhhh..we nuking these chinks"?
It wouldn’t be surprising if they did, especially if someone else is stupid enough to throw nukes first. It’s always worth remember that all of the middle kingdom’s neighbors absolutely hate them.

Oh this is fucking rich. They are back tracking on how many kids they killed with that ISIS guy

look, your choices are
A. we face fuck you with a horse dildo, then make you beg us for more and we call you a whore in a nice way
B. we call you the whore you are and you clean your act up

and the media chooses A over and over

Casey what's-her-fucking-name camped out across the road from Biden's residence?
Cindy Sheehan. I don't think it's fair to lump her in with those others, because she was consistent in her anti-war stance and wasn't just protesting for political convenience. She tried to protest Obama's warmongering as well, getting herself arrested sevral times for protests in front of the white house. Te only reason you don't hear much about it is because the media dropped her like a slimy dog shit after Barry's election. She also openly voiced concern that anti-war protests during Trump's term would only happen because he wasn't a democrat.

Fun fact: she also opposes all the vaccine and mask mandate shit.

He does seem competent in the area he is supposed to work in, so nothing about his competence/job to be upset about.
We can still mock him for his appearance.
He's insufferable as a person and is absolutely broken at a fundamental level. Very good at grifting though, but imagine if he put his apparent brilliance to actually useful endeavors instead of scamming for attention and clout.

That is truly informative, thank you. Of course she also went down to Venezuela and gave Chavez big sloppy kisses too so...

Must be fun for all those Bush-era lefties to discover they have zero actual clout.

An article about the Biden administration and its Indo-Pacific strategy which seeks to deal with the growing challenge of Chinese influence:

Biden's Indo-Pacific strategy hones in on China's "sphere of influence"

The Biden administration on Friday released its official Indo-Pacific strategy, which warns that there is only a narrow window of time remaining to prevent China from transforming the region into its own sphere of influence.
Why it matters: Biden is the third consecutive president to classify Asia as a top geostrategic priority, hoping to complete the "pivot to Asia" initiated under former President Obama.
Zoom in: The document, which is the first regional strategy that the Biden administration has released, cites the "mounting challenges" posed by the rise of China as a key driver of the "intensifying American focus" on the Indo-Pacific.
  • "The PRC is combining its economic, diplomatic, military, and technological might as it pursues a sphere of influence in the Indo-Pacific and seeks to become the world’s most influential power."
  • "Our collective efforts over the next decade will determine whether the [People's Republic of China] succeeds in transforming the rules and norms that have benefitted the Indo-Pacific and the world," the document reads.
Details: The strategy outlines fives primary objectives that the U.S. intends to pursue in concert with allies and regional institutions:
  • Advance a free and open Indo-Pacific
  • Build connections within and beyond the region
  • Drive regional prosperity
  • Bolster Indo-Pacific security
  • Build regional resilience to transnational threats
The big picture: "Our objective is not to change China but to shape the strategic environment in which it operates," the document states.
  • This represents a continuation of the Trump-era rejection of engagement as a means to make China itself become more open and democratic, recognizing that the best the U.S. can hope for right now is a defense of the regional status quo.
  • The strategy also lists climate change, pandemic recovery and North Korea as other major challenges facing the region.
  • "We will not have the luxury of choosing between power politics and combatting transnational threats; we will rise to our leadership charge on diplomacy, security, economics, climate, pandemic response, and technology," the strategy states.
Like the Trump-era Indo-Pacific framework, Biden's strategy strongly emphasizes working together with U.S. allies and partners in the region, especially the Quad — which is made up of the U.S., India, Japan and Australia.
  • Citing China's economic coercion of Australia, border disputes with India, and threats against Taiwan and other neighbors in the East and South China Sea, the strategy notes that U.S. allies "bear much of the cost of the PRC’s harmful behavior."
  • "We are deepening our five regional treaty alliances—with Australia, Japan, the [Republic of Korea], the Philippines, and Thailand—and strengthening relationships with leading regional partners, including India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam, and the Pacific Islands," the strategy reads.
Between the lines: A senior administration official told reporters that Secretary of State Antony Blinken's travel to Australia, Fiji and Hawaii this week shows that the U.S. recognizes the importance of "sustained engagement" with the region — even as it faces the more acute crisis of Russia's possible invasion of Ukraine.
  • "The United States doesn't have the luxury to only focus on one region or one problem at a time," the official stressed.
  • Russia's threats to invade Ukraine — and Europe's ongoing reliance on the U.S. as a security guarantor — have disrupted the Biden administration's efforts to focus more of its attention and resources on the Indo-Pacific.
The bottom line: The U.S. is entering a new era of foreign policy that will "demand more of the United States in the Indo-Pacific than has been asked of us since the Second World War," the strategy contends.

Having not looked into him and everything I've seen about him being on Kiwifarms, I am still dubious. The thing with people like this is that they are guided on stacking a resume and get placed into positions with fancy names but it doesn't necessarily mean shit.
You'll find people who "contributed to cancer research" as a freshman and what they really did was "Go be an office bitch and waste time for 3 months" which is just understood as par for the course for resume stacking.
"Researched Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning Number Theory Automation Big Data" - some do-nothing undergrad being groomed for academia.

The startup (Deep Isolation) he's involved with sounds like every other organization that submits for grant money then spends it and produces .... ???? a request for more grant money. This is unironically one of the most valuable skills one can have in the line of work he's in, to be fair, but it shows the rot in the incestuous academia-government relationship.

All that said, he at least clearly has some education and background and is almost certainly a proponent of nuclear energy so I suppose it could somehow be worse, but holy shit these freaks need to be put in front of a firing line. Dude is 100% a pedo which probably helped secure the spot as well.
