It's a mostly meaningless (in other words, very versatile) pejorative. The ones we're supposed to like are called "freedom fighters" or whatever (maybe not that one anymore, since freeDUMB is Literally Hitler now), while the ones we're not supposed to like are called "terrorists." I tend to think of the term "terrorist" as something like the modern equivalent of the Greco-Roman world calling people they don't like "barbarians."

That matches up with the results of that other Angus Reid poll that came out not too long ago, where literally the only group that still had majority support for mandates and restrictions were elderly women. Every single other age/sex demographic group had majority support for dropping everything.

There's an attitude thing going on there, too. I enjoy handiwork, and especially learning how to do something new. I can see whining about having to do something for the hundredth time, but I'm quite happy to learn (or be taught hands-on) how to do basically anything new, even if it's difficult or unpleasant; perhaps especially if it's difficult or unpleasant. The brain doles out bigger dopamine hits for overcoming bigger challenges.
