Being a minority in a business like this is pretty tough.
Primarily because others of the culture tend to become your biggest obstacle.
I know people like Zeno Robinson get critiqued for not being " Black Enough" or pandering to the White Lens or whatever.
All this is to say that if Holo does finally recruit an African-American it's probably going to be a painful experience for both of them and everyone else.

Ha, her building's fire alarm went off on her mid-song. She's had her avatar frozen and her BGM playing on loop for about ten minutes now while she types in the YouTube chat from outside the building.
Cue Urukultists scanning emergency service radio feeds in Vancouver to try to find her building.
