Idk, they seemed pretty okay with eviscerating the economy with all their corona policy bullshit over the last two years. In fact, the Canadian economy has basically been stagnant since 2008; never having really recovered. It's like Japan's Lost Decades, but everyone seems to refuse to talk about it in the Canadian context. Just pretend it's not happening. Maybe if we shut half the economy down over "Green" bullshit, that'll fix it.

Between all the lockdowns, the CERB helicopter money (which has always been known to be fucking retarded among economists), all the WW2-tier covid spending getting financed with QE money printing from the Bank of Canada, flooding the country with millions of foreigners who are making cost of living go parabolic? Idk, it feels more like some kind of controlled demolition, ordo-ab-chao type shit. They might be feigning outrage over Muh Bridge, but I see it more as a fabrication of a casus belli type of deal. They're still trying to find literally anything to smear these guys with. The RACIST NAZI CONFEDERATE GADSDEN FLAG thing didn't work. The Muh GDP argument is probably meant to make neocuckservative boomers seethe at the protesters. It just makes no sense on the face of it, because any GDP issue caused by the protest is paltry in comparison to the economic devastation caused by the policies they're protesting to have lifted.
