Chimney. I have no idea what the factory is but it's common to see it billow smoke.
Edit: It's on Zug Island on the Detroit side. I think it's a coal power plant but I'm not sure.

I'm watching this in awe in New Zealand. Canada was the perfect place for this to occur. Seeing other countries hold their own convoys in solidarity just makes my heart glow. They have to stick this out. It's working. Everyone is watching Canada right now.

I was hoping for this. The bridge blockades seem like satellite protests that would never have the robustness of the main convoy, but bridges aren't the only chokepoints--and they don't need to be an obstacle to 100% of traffic anyway--so as long as they reposition whenever the cops organise they can remain effective. I played Far Cry 6 last week, so I am an expert in guerrilla tactics.
They were brutal during the yellow vest protests, and completely unsubtle about the false flag/provocateur tactics to a degree that made it clear nobody was bothering to watch the livestreams since they kept getting away with it. They'll do it all again. Canada is really crucial.

California has cars lined and parked fully along one side. You could maybe have 1 way truck traffic, but you would not be able to have two way truck traffic, so they'll most likely go left McDonalds, not right like you've shown here.
