Pretty sure neither the cops nor the military want anything to do with enforcing that shitshow, otherwise they would've busted everything up long ago, Paris style, doesn't matter that they're peaceful protesters. The fact that they haven't cracked down by force in 3 weeks shows there's not enough support among the population for this kind of act, and both the cops/military and Trudeau know it. This whole thing is another attempt at trying to get the protesters to commit violence, which will give Trudeau the justification for a violent crackdown. Protesters just have to wait out a few more days because every hour that passes makes Trudeau and the RCMP look dumber and dumber, and pressure on the Trudeau regime is mounting higher and higher.

It's been 22 months of being called a nazi, not being allowed to speak publicly about my opinions because of social pressures, have been coerced to get a vaccination to maintain my livelihood, and being generally dismissed by anyone for daring to question the efficacy and reasonableness of the measures in place, especially when my country's leader goes harder as other countries back off. All of this because the Trudeau government felt it necessary to absolutely decimate anything or anyone that even slightly hinted that the government measures weren't effective.
