Why keep it in Cash when you could keep in Silver? I have 6 months worth of bills in Silver coins that I keep in little plastic containers on my bookshelf. Any thieves would ignore them in favor of the computer or TV. If I actually need to use them it's just a quick hop over to the nearest pawn shop or cash 4 gold location.

Silver is super nice to have. The values a nice increment too. $20-25 an ounce usually. But the best part is the feel of a silver bar in your hands. It's a primal, powerful feeling to have a giant lump of shiny metal.
