Well the city council officially authorizes the police to use the full force of the Emergency Act to crack heads.

Chiarelli just coming back with the facts to let the council knows that no matter what they pass the officers are going to what they want to do.

If somebody does this, I will see if I can get it printed on a sign and stick it on the fence in Parliament Hill. I am planning on going this Saturday.

Man who the fuck cares what the City of Ottawa thinks. They would have called an airstrike on day 3.

Any aggressive action outside of ticketing is the Canadian government going Tiananmen Square. They're going full jackboot with finances and other threats, but they know violence will destroy Canada politically.

I don't follow leaf politics all that much, is it customary to refer to Castreau as "this prime minister" and not by name ie Minister Castreau?

Because all the "THAT prime minister" and "THIS prime minister" talk, minus any possible custom where that's the norm, sure sounds like the way someone gets talked about right before they get yanked out of their private helicopter and told to face the wall. :stress:

You're not supposed to directly refer to other members, no. "The honorable member from x" "the prime minister" "Mr. Speaker", that's the way we do things.
