The part of Janessa's brain that is missing is the corpus callosum, which is a structure that connects the two cerebral hemispheres.
The cerebellum is the little foldy bit underneath. If Janessa had cerebellar agenesis, she would have severe symptoms if she were alive at all.
Here is a diagram. This brain has been cut in half sagittally (the long way down the middle), so all of this stuff is deep inside, normally covered by the other hemisphere.
