In not-Pippa news, Yuni is planning on rebranding or something. She goes through models like the ADHD schizo she is, so I'm not sure what an official rebrand would even be. Didn't see it mentioned, so sorry if it's late.

She talked about it on stream, one of her crazy ex-roommates knows about her being Yuni and harrasses her about it somehow. She was considering changing her name stop it.

Holy shit, Aki going all out on this year anniversary 3D. All the original stage asset. amazing Choreography, and even special member emoji for each guest. She even have her own original(?) musical play. The production value is off the chart, and for once it seems to be paying off for her. Currently 41k live viewer and climbing. Not as much as other member, but still high for her.

Edit: Top off somewhere around 55k. Not record shattering, but very solid.

Definitely one of the most memorable lives so far, arguably better than some of the recent paid Solo Lives. If you compare that to last year:

This topic always throws me off, I thought some autists doxxed her to the point they knew what animal shelter she volunteered at and contacted a family member of hers.

How is it that people still idly speculate where in the US she's from.

Everything regarding where she lives and who she is, is rather dubious at best. Out of all EN members her OpSec and lack of a paper trail has been the best, which is probably a result of living on a farm with crappy internet. And I say living because you don't get as knowledgeable as she is unless you either join the FFA or live on one.

Her accent is unusual for sure. It’s almost a mix of NW Florida & South Carolina had some strange baby that randomly switch’s to something from the Midwest.

The most accepted dox is she lived in Nantucket, but I have family members from Massachusetts and she sounds nothing like them. Id say anywhere from North Carolina to Southern Pennsylvania. Given her father is a massive NASCAR nut, Im more inclined towards North Carolina.

It's been a year so I can't remember the exact details, but myself and a few other people here had Gura pegged with a Boston-ish accent from her early streaming because of the way she pronounced a few specific words, as well as a few different words that were in her vocabulary. I'm talking stuff (as a loose example) like saying 'car' and pronouncing it like "Cah". Fuck if I can remember it anymore, but we had all independently came to this conclusion before the whole lolcow stalker dox came out.

Niji ID has some good people. Mika was a great recent recruit for them. I hope this means they will be getting more support now being part of the main branch (and whatever batshit bullying stuff that was going on will end). I worry it will just mean they will no longer be recruiting from those areas and just don't want to fire people.

I like a bunch of the ID talents but I barely ever watch them because of timing. That said I love whenever i see Mika chatting with Nina.

She already has an established fanbase I feel like rebranding would only hurt her by dropping her into the sea of undiscoverable Vtubers with 1-10 viewers in Twitch as not everyone will get the memo about the rebrand. I never liked how she changes models all the time (from a branding perspective) since its harder for people to put a face to the name "Yuni Luna". Also doesn't help with fanart since it's all different.

Natsumi/Nene's parent's dog that she was close to has passed away. She is travelling there asap on the shinkansen, so expect a hiatus on the hololive side.

On a somewhat related note, during the last Resident Evil stream Bae did, Fauna mentioned having to help her cat with something. Her cat is fucking ancient and I expect it to die soon, so a Fauna hiatus might be also scheduled soon.
