One of the most troubling things to me is how short-sighted people I know seem to be. Now I know that I can be prone to paranoid thinking, but it was interesting that I had so much trouble accessing this forum but when I decided to go through a simple proxy, it worked like a charm.

With two of the Convoy leaders in police custody, it would appear that the strategy is to take down the "captains" of the movement so that the base-now devoid of a central head-would become confused, scared and disperse. Whether those who remain on the hill hold the line remains to be seen, but the police are likely to go in tonight before the protester's numbers swell tomorrow evening.

I'm not holding my breath for the vote on Monday because all the Liberals need are the NDP to force it through the house. Having watched what happened in the House of Commons since this whole thing began, I'm not confident that rogue Liberal MPs are about to grow a conscience and vote against the party line. It's a shame really. Invoking the Emergencies Act for something that could have been resolved with something as simple as dropping federal vaccine mandates, sets such an ugly precedent.

This thread is by far the comfiest place to watch this whole story unfold. Watching the streams, you kind of get to connect to the truckers in little ways and put a name to all of the faces. If we congregate and try to organize they will censor or silence us, any gathering of predominantly white people must be broken up on account of "white supremacy". We are not allowed to have control of our children, they are indoctrinated in our schools to hate themselves, and actively encouraged to castrate themselves. Our history is being rewritten so that in every instance we are the aggressors, our statues and monuments desecrated regardless of context or character, any achievement or invention decried a success brought fourth only through limitless evil. Any job or business we own can be taken away with no repercussions. At any time anyone not white can completely destroy our reputation and life based simply on their whim. If we refuse work on principle we will be compelled by force. Any money we make can and will be redistributed and prioritized towards those who are non-white.

If we speak out against this we will be punished. The soul identifier to determine all of this is the color of our skin.

All of this is written into law. This is the Canada we live in today, right now.

I've tried to stay as optimistic as I possibly can throughout this thread, all of you have seen that, day after day. But I don't know if I can anymore. I don't think I can ignore what is clearly staring me in the face right now.

In this country, as things stand right now, the color of my skin now dictates on every level of society my place in it, and it is to have no voice, no money, no bodily autonomy, no control over offspring, no right to my history, no right to refuse work.

The only thing, by law, that I am allowed to do is shut up and obey.
