You forget what some rich parents do to “teach kids the value of hard work.” Gura is so familiar with the Disney world Vacation Club Resorts that she would have had to go every year of her life. She was outraged people didn’t recognize mermaid purses. She enunciates a semi-affected mid-Atlantic accent in a way that is almost unheard out outside of educated New England circles. She makes byzantine references to obscure vaudeville routines like talking about being hit “in the labonza”, references she would never have been exposed to without worldly educated cosmopolitan older relatives. I don’t know why people want to pretend there is some doubt about this, but Gura is definitely, without a doubt, a Nantucket Masshole, and it’s literally part of her charm.
Lolcow isn't exclusively a kiwifarms term, lol. It's a term that's been spread around edgy spaces of the net for a very long time - ED, 4chan, etc. Even before I was on this site I saw people referring to DSP and Dobbo as lolcows.

She makes a ton of mid-century middlebrow references, probably due to a lot of contact with older family members who had their old records lying around; "labonza" is a 40s slang term, and I don't think "I Want a Hippopotamus For Christmas" was targeted at the Junior League set. Her education seems to have huge gaps in it that she's filled with TV documentaries, so I doubt she went to the tonier schools and almost certainly didn't go to college. She comes across to me as coming from a lower-middle-class background of the sort that gobbled up mid-century Americana back when it was being produced, and who didn't get caught up in the late-20th century rejection of it, hence why she does things like start singing "Davey Crockett," only to get surprised by the 2nd verse, but finishes out the song instead of quitting it immediately. She's a window into a nearly-extinct side of American culture, and that's part of her charm.
People always talk about how she cheated on her military husband, but that's only when people are listing a "VShojo bad" list. She pretty much doesn't exist outside of that.
