I think Orwell described these people before. They only desire to instill their cruelty onto others. If you look at it from the rational liberal perspective. Anyone could see that arguing against more liberties is illogical. But the entire argument around the left is emotional. They believe that Nazis are on the rise and we must do anything to stop them. It's this mindset with the modern NPC left I've noticed.
The far left is in a war mode they believe they're in a literal war with the right where the right is slowly beginning to realize that the left holds all the cards. The left fears any sort of criticism as bad faith and right wing propaganda.

I don’t buy that this was some sort of 5D all according to keikaku plan where the organizers had a “win by losing” end state. If anything, they were flexible with what could constitute a desired outcome. If they couldn’t get the government to drop the federal mandates, a heavily publicized and documented crackdown by authorities forces the government into an indefensible position. How do you defend cops tearing small children away from their mothers and jackbooting their fathers? How do you justify that to someone who isn’t a bugman? You can’t.

If the truckers only stayed after the first week of protesting because they didn’t think the threat of law enforcement was a possibility, they would capitulated to the papers being waved in the faces of the laptop class and have upped and left a while ago.

I still think it’s a little too early to conclude these mass arrests are a win, but given the news coverage so far and the outrage that has begun to trickle in, I have some hope.

If anything more of the time and effort is on the American convoy. unlike the leaf convoy that wasn't armed for the most part. The American convoy would be armed not only that there is a good chance for it to turn into a flash point and right now there is probably some military tactician held back in the Pentagon due to dod diversity policy that runs these sort of scenario's all day and night.

It’s really difficult to keep up with this thread, but from what I’ve gathered from the last few pages, things seem to be winding down. Are they? At any rate, bug ups to the truckers and those who supported them. They held it down for almost an entire month, and did so without destroying cities - they also managed to piss way more people off by being civil.

From what I’ve seen around my circle of friends, people are upset because they’re inconvenienced. Not because they disagree with the truckers, but because “this is annoying”. You know what else is pretty darn annoying? Looting cities and then burning them to the ground. In a world where everyone is self-absorbed, requires a safe space, and have things handed to them, the number one way to make a statement is to directly inconvenience someone.

the PM will be praised for the police beating peaceful protestors out of the streets so others can get their Timbits. The left did a real nice job of showing their collective asses here

Permanent emergency powers, arresting dissenters, freezing assets, the government leaning on corporations to to their dirty work, dehumanizing the opposition.

We are saddled with a heap of total retards. Turns out all it took for them to be cool with fascism was the magic word “virus” although training then to be morally bankrupt enough to cheer when the boot is used on the outgroup probably didn’t hurt.

Never have we had a generation that so grossly overestimated it’s own intelligence. People in power realized that they just needed to brand ideas as intelligent and compassionate rather than actually convince people.
