The ones in military-looking olive drab are SQ, but the guys in neon vests are RCMP. I think it's kind of interesting to note that the Quebec riot cops seem geared up for a European-style phalanx battle in the streets, whereas the RCMP gear is a bit more lightweight and agile, but they're wearing active noise cancellation earmuffs that one would wear if expecting to shoot guns.

Well it depends on what you see as a police state, when I first read about these conveys, I first thought they were funny. I thought it was just going to be some protestors who roam around, shitting and pissing everywhere. But after speaking with some Canadians who I like to think I'm on friendly terms with, apparently the honking isn't that fun for the civilians when it's been reaching decibels harmful to human earing, causing sleep deprivation to people who otherwise just want to go to work and live, instead of what the thread initially lead me to believe as just 'annoying.' Not only that, but many of these fags have been blocking roads, disrupting local businesses, you know, small stores which rely on a steady flow of customers (surely you care for them with how you kept crying about how covid lockdown hurt them so much). One lady even disrupted and stood atop the tomb of the unknown soldier, like how much of an ass you have to be to do that.

So in my eyes, I wouldn't call what's going on a police state, rather a civil society executing the enforcement of law and order against retards who are disrupting public life and being overall a nuisance.

You expect me to feel pity for urbanites who were completely fine with letting these same old folks rot away in LTC homes for two whole years, being denied access to their family members let alone human contact, and get four fucking jabs that didn't do a single thing to stop a single COVID death?

It is difficult for me to view these events without feeling despondent to the point where I even question my loyalty to this country. I will finish this missive with the observation that I find some irony in Trudeau's attempts to compare the Conservatives to Nazis and Confederates. Isn't the marriage of state and corporate power one of the features of Nazism and fascism? Trudeau himself is an enthusiastic supporter of the World Economic Forum where governments and corporations discuss future policy. His government pressured GoFundMe to refuse to give the Freedom Convoy the money raised and then went after GiveSendGo. Then his government pressured private banks to freeze the accounts of anyone associated with the convoy.

As for the Confederate States of America, someone please correct me if I am wrong, but weren't many of its founding fathers from the planter class that owned the vast majority of slaves in the Antebellum South? Justin Trudeau and his best friend Gerald Butts lived in a world of wealth and/or political connections, so both enjoyed lives of immense privilege detached from the concerns of the middle and working classes. Meanwhile, the truckers represent the lower classes that keep the machinery running so the power disparity between Trudeau and the truckers. Adding to the irony is that his right hand, Chrystia Freehand wrote Plutocrats: The Rise of the Global Super Rich and the Fall of Everyone Else. She works for the very people she once railed against.

Indeed, Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada are closer to being Nazis and Confederates than their opposition. Something to think about.

Thing about riot horses (or even just patrol horses) is that they are directly being controlled by their rider. They are trained to be "bomb proof" and to not be afraid of trampling people, fire, sudden loud sounds, etc.

It's not the same as a shitbull you raised from puppyhood going for your throat because you sneezed. I wouldn't get mad at anyone defending themselves from the riot horses BUT you'd be better served by going for the rider. Plus if you knock the rider off you can take the horse and use it yourself.
