I didn't mean to sound like I'm saying hope is lost or that the protests weren't effective at all, just that they really should consider how they treat peaceful protestors.

I really want to go to Ottawa right now. I'm probably going to go to Quebec City tomorrow as there seems to be a similar rally but with 95% less likelihood of jackboot.

If that woman or the guy in the brown jacket were totally okay by the horses, guaranteed we'd see video of that by now. You don't get fucking run over by horses and get a bruise or sore arm.

Someone upthread said they checked the "non-binary" box or whatever on LinkedIn for a leg up. If you don't believe in "gender" that's completely honest. More honest than claiming to be 1/256 injun. Police on horses usually don't charge into a crowd like that because it's easy to get surrounded and the point of being on a horse is maneuverability and speed. If you get surrounded by a crowd and it gets hostile you can get pulled off your horse real easy

If the Canadian cops are going to resort to less lethal, its time to visit an industrial supply warehouse and a sporting good store.

The below takes away impact projectiles, flashbangs, pepperballs, gas, stingball grenades, TASERs and to an extent impact weapons.

This reminds me. BC offers an additional benefit to women going into trades here. You get a paycheque from the govt if you go to school for trades but if you check off anything other than male it's an additional $1000 or something. Several guys I worked with checked off that they were women because they aren't going to call and tell you that you aren't a woman.

I think it's closer to this thing I've known a few olds to use. It's kind of like a pushcart that doubles as a chair. Sort of like a walker, but you can take a break and sit down when you get tired. You also don't need to lift it or scootch it along, as it has four or so wheels, instead of two wheels and two tennisballs.

My dad preferred that style. It's not motorized, so it's lighter.

This mentality is how we got into the situation we are in today. It amazes me that after all we have seen and been through, people still believe the lies of nu-atheism. Even though, that is where progressivism got it's real start from. If there is no god than government is what sets the standards for what is right and wrong. Doesn't matter if you believe in God or not, you should act like there is one. Otherwise the standard of right and wrong is what the government says it is and you have seen how well that has turned out. If we believe rights are divine, then no man, no matter how powerful the institution they run, can just take them away. This is especially easy to do when you have tons of people who are godless looking for a god to tell them how to live a good life. That's why you have people furiously defend the government when they trample the rights of others, because it IS their god now.
