Blue state police officers are always worse then how the media portrays them. If you're lucky you get old police who are generations of cop. But most times you get some college educated fresh out of ROTC warrior cop dropout who has the right politics. So they say we're here to stop crime when in reality you're glorified tard wranglers asked to keep the junkies away from the doorsteps of snobbish urbanites.
I'm with you compliance is the easy route. Believe me I could have gotten the jab, closed off my old social circle, lied about my politics and be financially in a great place the perfect wagie life.

Here you can see blatantly what this is really about. The conservative states that the protest would have disperse if the mandate were lifted, which there was an opportunity for weeks ago, but the journo scum disregards that because his primary concern is that doing so affirms that people he doesn't like have power, which takes power away from those he does like. He more or less knows that his framing of the protesters is disingenuous, he's just an utter scumbag.

Conservatives tend to be part of the middle and working class that's reliant on institutions functioning and would immediately suffer in a breakdown of society. They aren't there to loot, they just want policy X or politician Y.
Communists and BLM types actively think a revolution that upturns society is a good idea, and that they'd immediately benefit because they'd find a huge horde of food that the wealthy were hiding or something.
Conservatives have a mindset that's about 50 years old - really patriotic and firm believers in peaceful assembly and taking politicians to task - while the Left is basically no different than the French Revolutionaries. Meanwhile, the actual ruling elites think in terms of "well we can freeze their bank accounts, we can use microwaves to cause them great pain without actually hurting them, we can use drones to follow them home and facial recognition technology to identify them".

If you guys want to keep this trucker thing going, you're going to have to start finessing the cops. Trick them into going to one city, while the real protest happens in a city hundreds of miles away. Your Quebec City protest, for example, will draw them away from Ottawa, and that's when you set up shop in Toronto. Rinse and repeat. Keep them constantly travelling and make sure they're exhausted. They won't be able to keep this up for long AND continue performing actual policing duties. Truckers can sleep in their trucks with no problems. Cops needs hotel rooms, beds, per diems, etc. It will cost too much money and too much manpower if you keep the protests moving. Turn it into a fun game, like whack-a-mole.
Once spring hits, you are going to see the biggest nationwide protests that Canada has ever seen. I think the "freezing people's bank accounts on a whim, and oh by the way, we're making this law permanent" thing pissed off a lot of people who were only sort-of paying attention. This will prove to be the governments fatal mistake.
