The biggest tragedy is that it breaks the narrative. Prior to the Boston Massacre there was the common perception in the British Colonies that they were British with shared values. This party atmosphere seem like a giant distraction. Trucks are getting towed away and no one is defending them. What the fuck is the point of celebrating and singing when the trucks themselves are getting dragged away? This whole thing is starting to feel like theater and the looky-loos who came to have fun aren't really there to stand for anything. It is masturbatory and pulls eyes away from stuff like convoy being picked off one at a time.

This may just be the brain damage talking, but this entire scenario feels orchestrated and contrived. Granted at the beginning everyone was caught off foot, but somewhere along the line it seems like someone started directing the narrative. Like every aspect of this makes every element of this feel morally superior and vindicated in their actions. The mainstream media beats the party drum and uses new and horrific ways to constantly demoralize and distract. Social media is so tightly controlled that most people live in little echo chambers that constantly reaffirm their own beliefs. Everyone is so busy being self-satisfied and smug in their own righteous that they don't focus on what should matter.

Everything points towards it popping off, but it is being slowly memory holed and disappeared right in front of our eyes and will become and will become one more of the never ending autistic arguments on the internet.

Edit: Literally the moment I posted this they suddenly notice all the trucks are gone.

I mean the tow trucks they have are few and far between plus we need to remember the size and scale of the protests and the barricades made. Plus with the emergencies act being used there is a very good chance that a border blockade could spawn tomorrow. People have to ask is the energy growing or waning. Right now the protesters got some good wins, and a snowballs chance. Plus remember they only cleared out a block or two away. After arresting the leadership and taking away some of the heads there are still estimated in the thousands at least still and that's being conservative with the estimates. With 70% of the rigs and people leaving there still is 30% that will occupy until they're all gone. That group will take weeks to clear. They still have trucks, porta potties, supplies, and fuel. This is a fluctuating situation think of this less like a BLM protest where the first weekend is really spicy and it calms down. And more like the euromaidan protest's. Remember this protest is manifesting in the middle of a dark winter. This can escalate and get out of hand if the government decided to be exceptional and reneg everything with vaccines because of the emergency orders act. Right now this is the proverbial calm before the storm I believe. I think without politisperging tomorrow will be interesting especially if more Canadians all of a sudden find that the situation in Ontario has gone tits up.

The gay Marxist SJW bullshit started in what I used to consider to be my movement and metastasized as "Atheism +" - which was just Marxism. I have since been forced to reconcile with the fact that, regardless of whether or not a god truly exists, civilizations need to believe in a god or else they collapse.

Most Atheists are just... lost without being able to rely on an objective moral framework provided by religion. I am convinced that most religious moral frameworks were created after deep introspection by our ancestors. An excellent example is the concept of monogamous marriage - which is the ultimate compromise between the competing interests of men and women to create a stable, peaceful society.
