The problem the NDP is facing right now is that if they withdraw support for Trudeau, they're effectively voting to make Pierre Poilievre the next PM, assuming the Conservative leadership contest ends up being the formality that it looks like it's going to be.
Honestly if the NDP wants to literally save their asses they would be better off throwing the liberals under the bus at this point. Seriously unless the current leadership want to end up exiled at best and worst killed by an angry mob. "But muh Twitter muh reddit muh fascism" okay it's pretty clear the Nazi flag was a misstatement and they could go full liberal guberment is evil and we got bamboozled by Trudeau.
There may be a dynamic at play that I heard pundits talk about in British politics, back when the Tories and LibDems did a coalition. The principal was that the senior partner in a coalition gets the credit for all the wins, while the junior partner gets the credit for all the failures. Thus the junior partner has little to gain, but much to lose. The LibDems ultimately got fucked out of the coalition and replaced with a Tory majority. This is probably because accomplishments belong to the senior partner and not the junior partner, while the junior partner gets blamed for not blocking the failure. People wondering if the NDP will cockblock the Liberals on this Freedom Convoy related stuff is probably the most anyone has thought about the NDP in ages. And the NDP will face blame for aspects of the current crisis if they fail to prevent it at various stages.

What they're doing at NDP HQ is just horrendous strategy. Here's how I would look at things were I an NDP operative. When did the NDP perform best? When the Liberals were in the gutter due to a combination of the Sponsorship Scandal and very bad leadership, and when people were voting against the right, i.e. the Conservatives. The NDP beat the Liberals and became the official opposition (2nd ranked party for non-Leafs) in the 2011 election. You'd think purported Marxists would have a better understanding of that dialectical pendulum swinging around. If the NDP plays the long game and lets the pendulum swing right for a while, it's bound to swing back to them in due time. It would not be terribly difficult for the NDP to engineer Canadian democracy into the format that you see in places like Alberta on a provincial level, where it's just Cuckservatives and NDP, with the Libshits basically non-existent. Plus, if the NDP threw the Liberals under the bus for covid lockdowns and these trucker crackdowns, it could easily snowball into a big enough scandal to be Sponsorship Scandal tier and much more, if only they'd stop covering for the LPC. Either Singh is a literal fucking retard, or he actually enjoys playing 2nd fiddle.

This is why I'm so completely fucked up on drugs right now.

There is a clear path to victory for this turban faggot and he's too fucking retarded to take it.

It makes me so fucking angry I can't even begin to describe it. It would literally save Canada and grant him more power than he could ever want.

The fucking hole in one is right there. FUCKING TAKE IT YOU INBRED INDIAN.

But he's too fucking stupid to do it.
What if he is under orders from his WEF masters to prop up the Liberals? Btw drink water and take it easy. Maybe sleep if you can... I say this while awake all night again lol.

Couple of stray videos and photos from overnight.

11 year old girl was in the middle of it all a day before her birthday. Gives her thoughts on the situation when she runs into a streamer.

Another streamer wanders in the crowd and eventually drifts over to talk to some cops, one of which is packing what looks like a tear gas launcher. They ignore him.

Bonus meme attached.

Archiving Progress Note -- The Portland Andy and MiTreasureHunter streams from the 18th are both 10 hours long and keep overrunning the 4GB filesize limit for most ordinary 32-bit video formats, even when downloading in 360p which is already borderline useless for multistreams. I'm going to have to see if I can find a good way to get these off of YT in chunks that's not utterly hideous. In the meantime, if you have ffmpeg and Youtube-dl or its main fork, yt-dlp, here's a way you can clip stuff straight off YT if you know the start and end marker (in seconds) for what you want -- you can use my example and just mash in your own settings to replace the yellow text as needed. (Just replace yt-dlp with youtube-dl if that's what you use, and change the two timestamps after -ss to whatever your times are, and then the URL for your video; everything in blue text should stay the same, including the double quotes, unless you know what you're doing and want to change things) (ignore the spaces I had to add in the example URL, those are only there to keep the forum from trying to actually link it):

yt-dlp -f "(bestvideo+bestaudio/best)[protocol!*=dash]" --external-downloader ffmpeg --external-downloader-args "ffmpeg_i:-ss 23700 -to 23765" "https:// www. youtube.com /watch?v=4bIBXtdYLio"

Thank you for your hard work and tweaking. Sure you know what you’re doing, but stay safe :)

God bless you free Leafs, and keep you safe. Stay strong.
Had 4 eggs and an apple, plus 2 cups of 2% milk in my 6 cups of coffee, haven't taken my amphetamines yet. I'm good to go. These canucks are the real heroes.

Counter point: This is a brilliant strategy. It builds the governments powers and laws they can use and abuse while undermining the party that implemented them, expands the number of disaffected conservatives for them to snatch up since a drowning man will take any float, economic strain is prime time to start promising the people who haven't been paying too close attention to how things work free/cheaper stuff as they don't know who did it to them in the first place. Just sit and wait for justo to go far enough where there is absolutely no coming back for him and take the cheap shot.

It's actually over for the Ottawa Police, they are finished.
No it’s not, they’re gonna get medals, a pay raise, and they’ll keep stampeding the retards who go to these protests and allow themselves to be manhandled by gvt lackeys because lynching said lackeys and their masters ( in minecraft of course) is against the law, and we can’t break the laws that the people who want to see us dead created to kill us.

I guess I should have refined my comment. Bleeding heart usually liberal or woke progressive christcucks.

Forgiveness and caring for the poor is all fine and dandy, but you also need a bit of fire and brimstone such as the death penalty and enforcing justice in lawmaking and enforcing.

Christians of the past understood this nuance well, where did they all go or how did they get replaced by this.
Christians shouldn’t be tolerant. You are correct: being a coward is not what it’s aboot.

Here's something I'm not clear on. As of this morning, how much of the protest area has been taken over by the police? People are saying they took "just one intersection" or "just one area" occupied by protesters but how much is that? 10%, 20%? At the rate they're going, how long will it take them to secure the entire area? The reinforcements coming over the 3-day weekend should help to slow them down.

Oh boy, lots of posts was posted when I sleep and I'm too lazy to catch up. Meanwhile kudos to American Thinker to post lots of articles about it.

I'm not expecting any reinforcements, the city is locked down at this point.

The reality is the "occupation" covered a single INTERSECTION; and the adjoining street along the T section. That's basically it. Trucks parked in residential areas on stand by, but they kept service roads open at all times and basically just slept in their cabs until they moved to the front of the parliment.

My understanding is the line covers the front of that T intersection in front of the parliament.

Edit:
The line should be in that direction:

Edit2:
They are supposedly in Parliament right now debating the act but I can't seem to find an active stream, looking...

They are definitely in the house of commons right now, I don't know why the fuck we don't have a stream yet

Still trying to disrupt CBC's cameras LOL!
