My usual copium huffing when shit like this happens is that the Convoy winning doesn't solve the "niggercattle" problem. If they got what they wanted from the government, you still have a corrupt government in place supported by a base of worshippers who will do whatever it wants and bully anyone who doesn't; and the state would just rig the next election to give themselves total power to fuck everyone over (like another country adjacent to Canada).

We have to lose the battle (and likely the next couple battles that will all be peaceful attempts at getting the government to stop raping you) to show that there's no easy solution to all this and that a hard reset is needed that will involve pushing the modern oligarchy and their slaves out of power.

The truckers are leaving peacefully, and will probably be harassed, but now Trudeau needs to justify the "Emergencies Act" over the next two days when the protesters are leaving peacefully. This can just expose Trudeau as an even bigger fascist.

Any one of these truckers can just drive to the US and claim (legitimately) political asylum after the heavy handed crackdown, and Quebec/Manitoba/Saskatchewan/Alberta have not been appreciative of the heavy handed government tactics even before an old woman got violently trampled by horses.

The truckers themselves did not need to become violent, but they also should not have left. They were worried about other people being hurt for their cause, but those people made their choice. Part of civil disobedience like this is to publicly take your martyrdom in front of the camera. These people are going to be quietly disappeared without notice now. You can't be a martyr if no one misses you.

They should have just stayed there and waited to be towed so more scenes of tyranny would wake up the masses. That is generally the goal of that sort of peaceful rebellion. You need to take casualties to show the lack of humanity in your enemy and move social sympathy to your cause.
