I don’t think Canada had ever had term limits for a Prime Minister. If anything, Trudeau has something he can feed to his supporters once he runs for reelection.

Having quickly peroused the ending section of the book I think you might've misremembered. I do, however, see a parallel with what someone else commented earlier about Ceaucescu's goons committing suicide after his fall.

My memory is a little fuzzy so i might be getting some points of this wrong, but i vaguely remember some dumb fucking faggot taunting /pol/ a few years ago and he got doxed as a police snitch or something, and they turned over his fucking geolocation to the guys he snitched on.
I think it was something along those lines, heh.
