It is never too late to start. If you're using a VPN you need to pick something that has cash payment options. Mail in the payments with a valid return address out of the phone book. John Oliver's back this week and shockingly, while he doesn't 100% condemn the convoy, he does take his opening segment to try and do a drive bye blood libelling of the founders of the convoy movement and make fun of one of the founder's singing.

He also was rushing through his bit, talking super fast, which indicates he's probably pissed the fuck off that his DNC masters don't want him white knighting Trudeau and making shit worse for Biden given how much Biden and the DNC don't want a convoy protest in the US.
