And I have an answer, but it's not going to be one that's well liked.
The only thing that would lead to this country actually waking up is if the general quality of life in Canada gets so bad that it becomes worse than India and/or other 3rd world shitholes, to the point where not even dirt poor 3rd world residents want to immigrate to Canada.
The Liberals have established since a long time ago an easy way to constantly maintain power in this country: mass immigration. For those who don't know, Canadian permanent residence is extremely easy to obtain, it's basically worthless. In America, it is extremely difficult to immigrate to (barring marriage), and only takes a limited number of highly qualified and sponsored immigrants a year. In Canada, we give it out like candy.
For those not in the know, if you get Canadian permanent residence, you are allowed to bring over all your family. parents, extended family, etc. as well, and they receive full government benefits including healthcare and old-age/retirement payments. People who have quite literally never paid Canadian taxes. So for 1 person working and possibly paying taxes, the country is now paying the costs for 6-12+ people. It's stupid, but if you're dirt poor in India or Sri Lanka, why not take the stupid western country up on its stupid deal.
Any immigrant to Canada is taught that it was the Liberals who made it possible, and that all the other evil parties want to get rid of them, so make sure to go and vote Liberal. They even send out people who speak their language to coach them on how to do so even if they can't speak/read English/French. And of course, provide transportation services to the polls.
In Canada, you can get a full permanent residence for only $20k Canadian, and it's almost completely guaranteed. How? A fun little thing called a "Post Graduate Work Permit". If a person studies at a Canadian education institution (including community colleges), after graduating from the program, they get granted a "post graduate work permit". If they study for at least two years, then they get granted the maximum time 5 year permit. If they do any work in the country even slightly related to their "field of study", they get granted full Permanent Residence, super easy and practically automatic. Also, this applies to what are essentially diploma mill schools as well. They just charge the immigrants $10k a year in 'tuition', and rubber stamp them through the 'program' so that they can get their PGWP. And since this is easy grift money and votes for the Liberal government, there is no oversight on any of this. There is also basically no limit to the number of PGWPs issued each year, so whoever wants to pay $20k in tuition for a fast, easy way to get PR in Canada will get it.
There is also the "Temporary Foreign Worker" program in Canada, where the government can import an unlimited number of 3rd world country residents to work. Unlike the US who does this a lot with Mexicans for farms, the Liberals have made laws now that allows "Temporary" Foreign Workers to have an easy path to Permanent Residence as well. So much for it being "Temporary.
The mass waves of nonstop immigration into this country ensures that the Liberals will never lose political dominance through voting, since the sheer number of people they bring in will always override anything else.
Want some numbers? The thing to keep in mind is that the population of Canada is 38M.
So, over the next 3 years, the Liberals have announced that they will be bringing in 1.3M immigrants as Permanent Residents.
For those keeping track at home, that is 3.5% of the total population of Canada currently. That number also doesn't include refugees, PGWP holders, and TFWs.
For the number of how many PGWP holders there are in Canada, we can just look at the stats:
Roughly half a million a year, and it's trending higher and higher. So, over 3 years that's another 1.5M people.
The number of Temporary Foreign Workers varies, but there's no real cap, so if needed by business, it could increase as much as needed:
The number of refugee claimants is smaller in comparison, but refugee claimants in Canada are extremely expensive because the government does not require them to work, and covers all their expenses while waiting on the determination of their claim status. Also by Liberal design, the 'backlog' is roughly 2 years currently, and the government does basically nothing to ensure that the refugees leave if their claim is denied. So, guaranteed 2 years of living the high life on government dime at worst.

This also helps ensure the increasing housing prices across the country, which almost all members of the government and wealthy Canadian elite directly benefit from.
So, the Liberals import in a guaranteed voter base who DGAF about any of Canada's issues because the Liberal decisions benefit them.
Other people in the thread have suggested the possibility of a workers strike to protest the governments actions. Well, that's what the unlimited cap of TFWs are for. Tell the dirt farmer in India that if he comes to this frozen wasteland and drives a truck (poorly), he can get Permanent Residence as long as he works the job for long enough. If he can't meet the requirements to get a truck driver's license? Well, good thing the government can lower the requirements for them. And if his terrible driving kills buses full of kids? Well, replace the kids with more immigration, easy peasy.
The only way this cheat code stops working for the Liberals is if Canada devolves into such a shithole that even 3rd world people don't want to move here. Otherwise, the government can retain its power and keep bringing in a steady stream of immigrants.
