I just watched Pomu's stream of Metal Gear Rising Revengeance. I always enjoy seeing the pure and concentrated happiness of those who play it. And the chat singing the theme song of every boss fight made it even better.

The overlap with the CG and especially WW audience that started watching Nick during his coverage of those cases is obvious, but I really wonder how the boomers that jumped on during his Rittenhouse coverage will take it. HOLOTALK EPSIODE 21 (SHIRANUI FLARE)

Summary of Interesting Bits
- They wasn't wrong that Flare is a bit more casual compared to other past guests, she is a bit more bantery with Kiara, rather refreshing to be honest. Shows that they probably talk a lot behind the scenes and what not.
- Flare dose enjoy doing collabs, but if they are pretty big collabs and require lots of talking she's not the biggest fan of them. She actually dislikes AmongUs quite strongly as she dislikes having to lie and lie to fellow friends, even if it all completely in jest. There was 1 time when after a collab of AmongUs, Flare cried abit as she felt hurt even though she knew it was all jokey and what not.
- I'm sorry but I need to mention that flare laugh is fucking adorable , its feels cutesy yet really fucking genuine, not many laughs like it now. I know this is widely known but it needs just saying again.
- Flare made Shiranui Kensetsu to play with Polka now, Miko joined only if she joined her demon lord army thingy at the time and then Suisei and Noel came after but they did them 2 as a interview style way. It was a good way for the bunch of 5 to be taught by Flare on how to play Minecraft decently.
- She got a fair bit interested mainly in the German culture by playing a old mobile game called "Grimms Notes " which the characters in the game are authors and one pair was the "Grimm Brothers" which wrote various tales and what not, and it kind of just spiralled out from there.
- How the Flare X Noel things goes is before debut, Flare couldn't afford a capture card and Noel was going to lend her to money to do so but obviously they had to meet IRL. So they got to know each other on the day, and they both found out their fav anime is the same which is "Planetes" (Decent show btw) which for girls to like is kind of rare. And from that day forward they get on like house of fire.
- How the Bakatare Group came to be, was about 3AM JP Time as Flare was just finishing up superchats, but then out of no where Fubuki asked Flare to play a horror game with her. Basically straight up saying "What the hell at this time? right now? Are you a idiot" hence the "Baka". But conveniently the only other person up at the time was the one and only Watame as she never sleeps and she just kind of got dragged into it at the same time. And they are forever now known as the "Bakatare".
- Not gonna lie hearing Flare sing "Ode To Joy" a bit was really something. Just watch this clip just to see Kiara face & reaction.
- Some of the main points on the new design is that it was bright so people didn't mistake her for the "dark-elf" she used to be called which came with the stereotype that she was also the "cool" type based on looks. Quite a funny point is that her papa (model artist) was having a small little crisis that he didn't know what "cute" was and needed a bit of help from fellow model artists.

I think this is a really good question, because there really is some sort of magic for the 3rd gen now. So apparently as a group of 5 in their discord it don't get used that much BUT individually in the 3rd Gen they do get on really quite well. Flare struggles with this question as she can't see how the 3rd gen is any more "special" compared to others. I suppose it easier to see from an outsiders perspective rather than from the view of the magical gen itself. Hell even Kiara agrees that 3rd Gen just has that tiny bit of something else. I think most here would say the word is "chemistry".

I kind of already knew about this but didn't realise how much of a difference it was and may be good for new people. But back in the day in the first 3 months or so of her debut, Flare sounded VERY DIFFERENT, which was a faked voice by talking lower which put lots of pressure on her vocals (why do they do this to themselves) and thought it made her look "cooler". She ended up realising she didn't want to do this and preferred an actual cutesy vibe and she just slowly ditched it over time which is the voice we get today.

Side Note: This was for me one of the hardest one to do so far, based on it length and THE SHEER AMOUNT OF TANGENTS AND THE AMOUNT FLARE TALKS is just insane. It's slurred due to the accent drawl and pitch shift so there is no "d" on "around", leaving the "n" to roll into the quick "I guess" making n-igess.

I forget if Moe was on the accusatory or defensive side but tbf they pretty much all fell off my radar not long after the collab and then the allegations.
(Also I just noticed there has been a bit of a trend of Melody working with/collabing with people who get metoo'd eventually lol)

Well I missed some good shit. Was watching Phantom of the Opera with parents and older brother. It was amazing and makes me wonder if the girls are allowed to sing any song from it. I hate this permission shit, copyright law ruining fun. And speaking of which, the reason Gura wasn't using radio is because she's not allowed to anymore; I guess because of getting struck last time. Honestly feels too early considering Luxiem still seems to be climbing in subs at a pretty good pace. It's not like they'd shoot up straight to 1m and reach Kuzuha, up to a month longer until there's less risk of accidentally putting a brake on their growth might've been something to consider. Have any of them gotten identified yet? Also, in a move absolutely nobody expected for sure and legit, the next gen after lux and the past is noctis and the future. What a shock? Pretty much everyone seems to be Luxiem's counterparts, down to the same color motif (mafia/officer, novelist/DJ, detective/phantom thief, sorcerer/psychic, demon/cyborg)
