She has no regrets for what she caused an entire high school to go through and I never expected anything like it. The shit people figuratively threw at each other was just un-fucking-believable.

When we take blood from a patient, we aren't supposed to take it on the side where a patient has had a mastectomy. A mix of potential nerve damage as well as a bunk lymphatic system makes it not only risky, but also has potentially screwed results.

That's not the practice in my area. If someone has had a mastectomy, you're meant to do everything you can to avoid taking blood out of that side.

Like I mentioned, it's not only the blood work thats the issue. There's a high risk of nerve damage and the fear is that if you miss poke, they won't even know until too late.

Pulling blood from a mastectomy side is grounds for dismissal or at least suspension

You know it is easy to lose hope in life after seeing threads like this but for me it's actually given me some hope and a more positive outlook on the future.
