The use of masks makes me want to tard rage to no tomorrow. They aren't effective if you touch them, reuse them, or take them off of your mouth and nose.

The idea that one can stand up, take off the mask, spit all over a small piece of metal 5-8" away from their face, and then someone else gets up and does that same thing while huffing all of the matter on the mic totally blows logic out of the water. Since day one I've questioned this act. If every person touches their mask even once a day, the mask is moot and the purpose is lost.

It's a constant reminder ~we're in a pandemic~, it has to be intentional, there's no way most of these people still believe it's some deadly disease. They just want you to see it and remember corona and be scared because "omg, if our politicians are still wearing masks, it must still be serious!!"

Tl;dr: No, this has just begun. While Trudeau is going full Fascist Dictator against the people of Canada, even China is calling him out on how fucking retarded he is for doing so. Well, I hope you're right. I suppose we'll have to see what happens next. Personally I am not hopeful. In my experience, if people resort to calling something an "optics win," they are coping. "We lost, but at least we were polite about it."
