Canadian Truckers Convoy 2022 - The Leaf calls you a Nazi as he gasses you

>Unless MPs trigger another vote and choose to revoke it, it will expire after 30 days.

Stupid faggots run a minority government, claim majority representation. This White nigger rigs votes too.

Usually, the penalty for not voting is to be considered as supporting what the majority decides, so arguing that a lot of people didn’t vote (pretty high for a developed nation), isn’t a good argument.

the only people who believe this are the weird Americans with no personal connections to Spain who nonetheless have strong opinions about the Spanish Civil War

Franco was a complete retard who only got into power because the equally retarded enemy was so evil

people hate Franco because he kept Spain desperately poor for decades. beating commies isn't enough to make you not suck if you proceed to govern your country in a way that makes communism look like a reasonable option.

What Franco did to the Spanish economy and to Spanish civil society is still fucking Europe over (as well as what Salazar did to Portugal) because Spain is such a fucking basketcase of a country.

And it's not like he - or Salazar - even managed to keep those countries Catholic in any meaningful way.
He was a little less sucky than the Republicans in that he didn’t murder priests.

It's really depressing to see people in my everyday non-internet life who have absolutely no idea about the convoy even happening, or why. It makes me think of that 4chsn pneumatics/hylics image, I can understand not really caring about the convoy or world events but these people have somehow managed to isolate themselves so thoroughly they have absolutely no idea about month-long world events.
In fairness, I did that for years before COVID hit. I was content to let these assholes rule the world and build their unfathomable fortunes, but even that wasn't enough control for them.

It's now clear that they'll never be satisfied until the world is a technocratic dystopia with themselves on top, managing even the most trivial detail of the serfs' lives.

Some more:
  • Syria under Assad
  • Iraq under Hussein
  • Chile under Pinochet
  • Every Central African country that gets taken over via military coup every three weeks
  • Wallachia (Hungary) under Vlad the Impaler
  • Rome under Nero
  • Philippines under Marcos
  • Germany under Hitler
Rome is a stretch. Why not Rome under Tiberius or Caligula?

I replied to the wrong message. Sleep deprivation is a bitch sometimes. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check out the pdf. I picked up Narrow Boat by L.T.C. Rolt a couple of days ago for some downtime reading. It seems like it could be a decent read from the description.
The Convoy is Dividing a Rural Community Being Used as a Staging Ground for the Illegal Siege of Ottawa
This article is a few days old and biased. Don't let that stop you from reading it because it gives insight into the area surrounding Ottawa and how the neighbors feel. I was surprised to read about the Druthers paper because I hadn't run across that anywhere before now.

How can you act like a Fascist if you're already a Communist and how is Fascism at all distinct from Socialism?
A mixed economy is a real thing; the US has a mixed economy. There are no purely capitalist or socialist systems. Cuba has a mixed economy of a sort as they allow for some private ownership of business. The US has combined a free market and the socialist principles of state ownership/planning (Obama care). Where it gets dicey is that the US has also pursued a policy of protecting certain private businesses (the 2007 crash is a good example) which is more fascist than capitalist/socialist. It's what the National Socialists did in Germany; private business/ownership supported by the state. Too Big To Fail is a fascist economic policy; Had the banks been put into receivership and then returned back to their shareholders once they were stable, that would be in accordance with the policy of a mixed economy.

Fascism is an economic system, as well as a political one. While both have elements in common, they are different. Stalin behaved like a fascist strongman politically, in that he was both General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Soviet Union, for life, and of course he had millions of Soviet citizens executed, assassinated, murdered or sent to gulags, for political crimes. Literally every crime or offense was a crime against the State and the Party so effectively the entire country was under the threat of death for causing an offense, real or imagined, by Stalin. That is why he was fascist strongman, as opposed to a socialist leader, like Mikhail Gorbachev, who had been elected by the Politburo.

It's too late now, they can't put that genie back in the bottle. Trust is gone and nothing short of complete condemnation and a vote of no confidence in Trudeau could have saved it. Money is going to flee Canada and it won't just be the truckers.

The Canadian economy is fucked long term now but they're going to say it's all because of Russia, nothing to do with their actions
Yeah, it's absolutely something they cannot unfuck. The people's trust and confidence in the banking sector is pretty important to the economy, to say the least. To just come out and say "Never mind, we're not fucking you over anymore :)" is simply not good enough. That is not how trust works. How do you react when your girlfriend comes to you, saying something like "Hey babe, I just stopped cheating on you (for now)." There's a world of difference between a gf you know doesn't cheat, and a gf you know to have cheated just once; the trust is gone. This series of events will certainly impact what I choose to do with my assets moving forward.

I believe the NDP rep requested a written statement on the utilization of people's banking information that was gathered from the hack in their use for determining the freezing of bank accounts, and clarification that the hacked information will not be a deterrent to them in the future.
Oh, shit, did they realize how many union members were in that list? Oops.
