Not really. Canada is a much less litigious country than the US, and really high dollar punitive judgements are incredibly rare. I heard some lawyers shooting the shit on this (not legal advice) and they are going to have some high bars to clear proving that honking did any damage. No one has produced decibel reports from inside houses or proved that anyone actually had any damages.

Checked myself and judging from the highway sign that seems to be accurate indeed, they're on Interstate 15 (?) and exactly 150 miles from Needles, California. Lot of people showed up at the overpass.

Yeah my big highschool was proud of how we had a Quebec French teacher since (supposedly) most schools could only find teachers for European French.

I'm sometimes impressed by how well I can read written French despite not getting most of the grade school French education. I immigrated here some time ago as a child and it was quite shocking to suddenly be learning a second language when I had been gearing up to eventually do Spanish in middle school before. So, there's something to it, but I definitely can't speak French or understand a francophone unless they speak very slowly and simply.
