General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Why would Cover be ok with their talent giving support to someone they had to fire for sharing company secrets?
That's saying you approve of her action.
Because being supportive of someone they have worked and shared with shouldn't equate being supportive of the actions that got them in trouble, is what I'd say, but its also possible I'm just oblivious with corpo stuff.

and I'm with @IdenticalPlateaus on this one, this sounds all way too much like empty corporate PR speech. or the language barrier makes it worse than it is and this the expected nip behavior in this case.
It doesn't really read like much is being lost in translation, it is corporate PR speech and even if it wasn't, it's noticeably different from how they've reacted to previous events so I agree that either Rushia did something so fucked that she lost even basic respect from her coworkers (and somehow this hasn't leaked despite how leaky everything else about this incident has been?) or the company is cracking down hard.

I don't really trust FBK's entire "canary" thing, it's a pretty convenient position for her to take since it personally doesn't require any extra action from her while making it easier to control drama. After all, she still has an interest in the company staying afloat since even if she'd easily get into any other vtuber agency or do well as an indie, she'd still be starting again branding wise.

That said, Kizuna AI is also starting her indefinite break this weekend so overall this is looking to be a particularly eventful week.

Honestly, this timeline and explanation seem like the most likely reason behind all of this. It'll be interesting to see in the next few weeks if any more major information about this situation leaks. Especially if Rushia already had loose lips.

That vt post sums it up pretty succinctly imo. Rushia fucked up on a level I don't we can comprehend at this juncture.

Yeah, I'm not really sure why everyone is expecting all the members to post some super emotional response. They're the public face of the company, of course they're not necessarily going to post all their personal thoughts on the matter (or at least the smart ones won't). I just see their tweets as a neutral PR response. Doesn't necessarily mean they don't care about her/the situation (although it's also entirely possible that they don't), they likely just don't want to inadvertently start shit or draw lots of attention to the matter aside from just acknowledging that it happened, especially since she was terminated and not graduating.
Plus I feel like for these of situations, tweets like the ones people want must be pre-approved.

Naki and Non from Prism Gen 4 are streaming on the Prism/Phase Connect/Tsunderia shared Minecraft server, thought you guys might be interested because Tenma showed up (in chat, on the server, AND now in voice chat!)

....what? It's not like anything else is going on, is there?

What? Why would Tenma play the dreaded Cube Game? Did Fishman force her to do it?

Rushia was made an example of. dosent matter how big you are, if you bring dishonor to the company, they will get rid of you.

this is a warning to the rest of the talents.
If they were that Cut Throat several members would be gone by now. I think it's more along the lines of "Don't break contract in a way that puts everyone else needlessly at risk"

yeah like i understand why so many of you are gloomy and serious right now but come on this is kiwi farms, don't tell me that none of you are getting some enjoyment out of this drama
I sure as hell am.
Whats the German word for it... Schadenfreude?

I think we are vastly overestimating how much the girls like each other. At the end of the day it's a job. No way 20+ girls working together can all be on good terms. I'm sure some are gonna take the news badly, some are gonna be secretly celebrating, others handling it professionally, etc. The fact one of her supposed closet associate took it so well and bascially trying to just hide it under the rug says Rushia probably revealed something that potentially put other members jobs at risk and made them agree more with Cover than with their own friend. I mean you're making thousands every stream can't have a friend fucking that up.
At this point I'm assuming that anyone who thinks the girls work in a group where they all love and hang with each other has never had interaction with the real world, even further, seen how real working women interact with each other.

Not to sound MGTOW but women are incredibly petty, vengeful and spiteful among each other if there is anything to win, the concept of loyalty and camaraderie men feel? non-existent among the weak gender.
