An entire squadron of helicopters are wrecking the entire place

I count 20, which is Russian doctrine for a helicopter squadron. They look to be Mi-24s, the famous Hind, though trying to determine the specific version is going to be hell. In addition to the firepower, that's also potentially a company of airmobile infantry, if they're doing the old Vietnam "raze the drop zone and set the troops down". I'm inclined to lean towards this possibility, since we only see a few firing off rockets, while the follow-ons could be carrying the troops once they're certain they're not going to get shot down.

Do you really think this is going to lead to anything that remote qualifies as mass murder? It's a little war that will be over in a few days.

Oh yeah, Christmas at the latest, just like Iraq.

Pure kino.

I would like to remind all the warmongers like @Techpriest - each one of those helicopters could take out your entire local police force.

Just because Russia has a weaker currency doesn't make their enormous fleet of heavy tanks and helicopters any less lethal - and you overestimate your own technological edge.
Shitposting aside, I don't know how a lot of people can be so misinformed on this, only getting their info from mainstream media? Russia has one one of the most well drilled and sophisticated armies in the world. Even taking nukes out of the equation, thinking the US/NATO could just roll up and fuck them up without resistance is silly. You're not dealing with a bunch or Iraqis with second hand Soviet era hardware.

Part of me thinks Mussolini's over-reaching might have been a genuine fear that without some sort of Latin Bloc Germany would eventually turn on their non-Germanic allies. Hitler may have had some small degree of empathy for other European peoples, but the rest of the Reich's officials clearly did not when some of the actions in Eastern Europe by SS officers were revealed.

Even among the various German aligned peoples of Europe during that period, most couldn't stand the German Reich and Hitler in their private messages.. I think contemporary Nazis might be wrong about the goodness of German Charlie Chaplin and his pals.
The actions in eastern europe meaned nothing in regard to western europeans, slavs were always seen as subhumans

Russian Army has problems with budget and replacing old equipment tho, but it's still enough to fuck ukraine.
