Haven't been keeping up with vtubers for awhile and only noticed this cause of soju's video, what a good time to catch up!
Such a tragic ending though, i wonder if the "leaks" and that were an ongoing thing or something similar which built up over time and this incident opened the floodgates or she just shared too much regarding the whole incident.

They definitely would. It's why I don't get people simping on vtubers, especially the super popular ones. They're fairly one note. Rushia isn't super unique, her most unique aspect was her voice.

If Hololive owns all the character rights, I'm surprised they don't just replace her. Sure there will be some push back but you're handing the channel with a few million subs to a new person instead of trying to build them back up with some new character.

Mr Yagoo is going for the Fake Diesel and Razor Ramon heat. Hololive is about to kick off the Holotude era.

I think undoubtedly she'll get more money out of this herself.

Any of the truly talented and great holos would do better financially as indies compared to being corporate. But being indie means not having access to the perks being in a company offer; Hololive offers great connections within the music industry, has definitely contracts with those whom may teach some to sing, rigging and modelling work not to mention the trickle down subscriber count, especially whenever a new generation comes around.

That said, Rushia never really aimed at being a singer or a performer and focused a lot more on her brand as a streamer, so I imagine she'll be just fine.

If she however was a holo more focused on singing/performing, like Ayame, Suisei or Calli I reckon it'd suck heavily for her.

Isn't it kind of interesting that Pekora and Marine are the emotional ones, while Noel and Flare aren't? A lot of speculation about what the leak could be, but it just struck me that the two in the supposed lesbian couple are the coldest. Maybe she leaked something regarding the reality or lack-there-of of their relationship. A scenario like, 'other members play up characters all of the time. Noel and Flare aren't real thing. . .' You get my drift. That would be something that could piss off a decent amount of people, and it would explain Fubuki being withheld given her closer friendship with Flare.

I feel like you didn't watch a lot of Gen3 if this is your reaction.

Marine is the holomem Rushia was closest to. And I'd say Pekora was second place.

Everybody in Hololive has acted cold in delivering these news, with the exception of Marine who is probably the one member who was the closest to Rushia.

Also, do keep in mind that even Watame (who is a fucking saint) of all people also was very matter of factly about this, which adds to the theory that this is all on Rushia and nobody else.

Flare sounded pissed off, but you could tell by their pauses and the brevity of their comments that they were reading from scripts rather than actually speaking. It's difficult to get a read on what they're actually upset over as a result.
