Lol you think US withdrawing from NATO would prevent this?

You're a A&H defending Trump and Russia, you're definitely a Republican, son.

And yes, if Trump were still president, he would've. Saying "Trump did prevent it" is like saying Woodrow Wilson prevented WWII
Are you the autistic one here? I didn't say it would prevent it I SAID IT WOULDNT BE OUR PROBLEM. The United States has its own problems like the fucking commies and troons, not to mention the Beaners that traffic kids and drugs over the border, but please keep telling me how Trump is bad when he had the United States best interests in mind.

what eastern axis?
The two separate Russian and Chinese ones. There's also the whole middle east and whatever's happening there. I'm sure Iran would be glad to flex some muscle if the US decides to stay put in its own place for a while.
The US cant leave Europe alone because they need to keep germany in line with the globohomo agenda. germany getting moe neutral would be a massive problem for the Us since germany controlls about 1/3rd of Natos industrial production.
Makes sense. Anything to stomp down those German fags.

Trump defeated ISIS, Trump was brave enough to walk into North Korea alone.

What brave things has ChoMo Joe done to make Putin fear the repercussions of invasion? Sniffing little girls and whispering breathily into a microphone isn't scary to anyone with that level of international political and military power.

in fact let me share this post from boomercon website Free Republic

""" Unfortunately, we do not have a real President to lead this country.

Nor do we have a free people to fight in its military. This government hates the American people.
Actually, the entire establishment (Big Tech, Big Media, Academia, etc.) has been making war on the American people for years now. The Summer of Floyd was one long, sustained terrorist attack on the American people.
Why would Americans die in any war that's supported by the current ruling elite? """

"Ihor we're fighting alone against a great power and we're a few hours away from capitulating, what should we do to turn the tables?!"
"Complain on Twitter and ask them to remove Russia's account from there"
"...I knew we shouldn't have put the fate of our country in the hands of a former comedian"

Hurr durr everyone who disagrees with me or says something i disagree with is hitler a republican.

Christ, I miss the old gimmicky hulkster.

Fair enough - I do remember Trump complaining about NATO. Maybe Trump would've tried to disband or reduce NATO. However, there's the possibility that a weakened NATO would just embolden Russia. They've wanted eastern Ukraine for a while and they took Crimea before Ukraine was making NATO overtures.
I still don't believe Putin -wants- Ukraine. Crimea is a warm water port that Russia did not have, he wanted that, he took it. Putin doesn't want NATO bases on its border, there are overtures to a country on its border to join NATO he is making sure that doesn't happen.

I could be 100% wrong but I don't think this happens if the US leaves Russia alone. It didn't happen in the last 4 years when we did leave them alone.

All Biden had to do was issue a statement saying Ukraine wouldn't join Nato. That's it. Instead he tried playing hardball and the Russians called his bluff so now instead of a neutral Ukraine as a buffer state, Russian forces are closer to Western Europe.
Back to your containment thread, male underwear.

What do you think made Putin decide to invade at this time instead a few years ago? Maybe he was just waiting for the right moment which wouldn't surprise me at all.
Because when you have someone everyone views as insane saying that if you invade they'll nuke your capital off the face of the planet you decide to just wait them the fuck out. Putin isn't actually -that- old. He's not even 70 yet, has access to first-rate medical treatments, and is in good physical shape. He'll likely outlive everyone currently in power in every other major power.

Most europeans outside of eastern europe and scandinavia don't even want to fight for their own country. I doubt the average european would want to do anything except whining about the "ultra evil dictator putin"

The German owner of the EU isn't even considering kicking Russia out of SWIFT for this. There's no chance of them putting boots on the ground. I hope they are appreciating their decision not to make minimum NATO military spending at this point.

Friedman is probably having a religious crisis right now. This is a man who believed we'd arrived at the end of history because no two countries with a Mcdonald's in them had ever gone to war.

And yet here we are.
The entire neoliberal foreign policy establishment is shitting themselves. Their compromise with neoconservatives in the forever wars has completely exhausted the country on the idea of war, and none of their old tricks work anymore. The post-Cold War global order is coming to an end, and that was their creation.
