I think she only burried her cat but that was without her fault.
Finally finished catching up. The merge really seems to be going on right now. The whole story is kinda tragic but I have a hard time to feel really sorry for Rushia after all the things tha have come to light the last few hours. Everything could have been easily avoided if she had just let the storm pass. Considering everything that we know so far occam's razor tells me she simply fucked it up.
Nethertheless it's sad to lose her and the Rushia persona in hololive. I enjoyed the clips of her that I watched in the past. The Nai Nai cover during her birthday live is one of my favourite ones of all holo covers.

Optimistic. I think Cover might be even stronger with talents talking about/ referencing a war vs. Rushia.

I may have come off harsh/dumb/autistic about the entire "lose empathy, work for company till you are brainless robot". That's not what I wanted to convey. What I was trying to convey is that you can't let emotions throw you off, especially if others are waiting or relying on you lest it is absolutely not possible. Do I sympathize that Rushia got axed? Yes. Is she at fault for her own axing? Who knows unless, again, someone here joins Cover undercover (heh) and manages to get us those corporate secrets.

As a token of peace, here's the one thing I will always remember Rushia by and could sympathize with.. because dropped cola is cola you will never get to recover (unless you're some kind of barbarian and slurp it off the floor)

Once this shit didn't blow over, I think deep down everyone (except those delusional and high on hopium) knew a graduation for her would be imminent.

I definitely wasn't expecting a termination of contract, which is the worst outcome for such a popular talent like Rushia. Hell, I agree it's striking since she was the top earner of the company. Whatever she leaked and shared must have crossed the line to the point they chose to cut their losses and move on without giving her any chances...

Hell, the Coco situation was shit, but I don't think it's anywhere near whatever Rushia did and I don't think it should be compared. Both started with dumb situations, but both ended differently as well and this Rushia one is definitely severe.

Good luck to her and to her fandeads, though.

Technically there were 3 Noctyx leaks (Uki, then Yugo/Fulgur) yesterday btw. More people watched both than Aloe's 17 TwitCasting viewers, so one would think that if one considers it an NDA breach the other would too. I think they got away with it because of Rushia completely engulfing the V-Tuber world.

By the by, Yugo's unlisted video created more questions than answers and I'm just completely fucking vexed about who or what Yugo is. His leaked test video actually has him not talking at all. Instead, he's listening to Fulgur rehearse HIS debut stream lines. I'm not sure if it's just the feed, but Fulgur might be using a light robotic modulator on his voice. His ACCENT is reminiscent of Vox with a higher pitch so it definitely is not Chimon (Who is Chinese).

Probably some combination of emotional Rushia fans not thinking clearly, people who are very new to vtubers, basic tribalists, and trolls who noticed that talking about Nijisanji being "better" whenever there's Hololive drama triggers a lot of Hololive fans.

On /vt/ they definitely do. IDK about Reddit but it wouldn't surprise me as there is some overlap between the two userbases, as much as people like to deny it. I have seen trolls on Reddit in other situations trying to put out blatant bait for tribalists.

Problem is, unlike Kson she is a really troubled girl. Normally this would be bad, but right now she is getting shelled hard from all sides and is physically ill as well as mentally fragile, if that doesn't break her legs I don't know what else outside the commonplace trauma contexts would!
