Chernobyl has refined uranium in its containment tanks. If someone was crazy enough, for example if they watched their country get invaded and raped to death by mad Ruskies and Muzzies, they could get a wet/dry circular saw and cut their way in and get enough fissionable material to make a dirty bomb.
Reactor fuel at Chernobyl was like 3% U-235. Refined, yes, technically. Useful for anything except fueling a very dangerous nuclear reactor? No. Plentiful enough to be turned into something else? Also no.

"Are you urging China to help isolate Russia?"
"I'm not prepared to comment on that at the moment."
Congratulations you fucking old retard, dear god, if the US government thought like that back in the 1930s, we'd all be speaking German now.
Hey babe, I think you forgot that the US was largely against getting involved in WWII until Pearl Harbor.

I am not talking about making a functional fission bomb. A dirty bomb just needs enough fissionable materials to pollute where ever it was detonated.

Do they even have concrete cutting diamond blades for circular saws in Ukraine

A dirty bomb is literally just a bunch of conventional explosives used to spread nasty radioactive shit everywhere.

What I’m wondering is how Putin will respond to the U.S. asset seizure. That’s some scary shit.
Probably get on TV, spew anti-west Rhetoric, pull the Russian victim card, make more vague statements about great consequences and 'reevaluating relationship with US/NATO, Remind the world Russia WILL defend itself, and probably announce counter sanctions (refusal to sell resources such as oil and aluminum directly to America). Maybe threaten expansion into the remaining Non-nato states.

It'll piss him off, but I don't think (hope) it'll lead to any direct confrontation between the two nations.

Honestly, if this ends up being a very short war that doesn't kill that many people, gives the decadent West a wake-up call, and embarrasses the Democrats again, that might be kind of...good?

Take the deal, Ukraine.
I'm rooting for Armageddon and radioactive zombies.
