This was literally the ground floor schizo take about this situation in the west. With the way things are now though, you'd have to argue that Putin is in on the grift and flattening Ukraine to protect the oligarchs.

Or, and hear me out: Biden doesn't care about any records of corruption in Ukraine because we've had like a hundred different banks have their records leaked showing the sketchy business dealings of western politicians and no one cares. Why would Biden think anyone cares about this specific spat of corruption allegations when the previous ones got memory holed?

There's no grand conspiracy here. Putin wants Ukraine and is now taking Ukraine. And people who think otherwise should take something too - their meds.

There have already been reports of Ukrainians destroying sensitive information en masse when the Russians start approaching. It's standard practice during war. Afghanistan/US notably fucked it up hard by not doing it before the Taliban rolled over. Everyone should take a cold shower to get rid of your boners, if the info exists it would definitely be being destroyed right now.
