As far as I know, an awful lot of Ukraine's energy generation happens in the South around the mouth of the Dnieper river - i.e, exactly where the Russians are pressing the hardest.
Here's a map from Wikipedia of all the power stations in Ukraine. It looks like the Kakhovka HE Station has already been taken by the Russians and that they've been able to bridge the Dnieper. I'd wager that the Russians are going to proceed North, working up the Dnieper to Dnipro.
