Even worse. It's going to eventually be in the hands of Nader's defense attorney. Maybe Chantal can't be prosecuted for any of the shit she's done on camera, but a halfway decent defense attorney can sure as hell rip her credibility to shreds and make her look like a vindictive, lying lunatic.
If Nader was arrested he was probably asked if he is on parole or probation and it will be automatically reported to his PO, or he may be required to self-report any police contact. If the PO finds out about the YouTube streams he or she may get curious and watch some of it, in which case Nader will get piss tested for sure. Without warning. I think that's the biggest threat to his freedom right now. Anything involving Chantal is going to be so murky no Crown attorney (the equivalent of a District Attorney in the U.S.) is going to want to touch it with a ten foot pole. This probably will end up with both of them being advised to seek restraining orders, just like two little kids who can't get along and are told to play at opposite ends of the playground.
Edited to make sure I'm clear that I don't mean to trivialize actual sexual assault. I think Nader preys on women and jail is where he belongs but whether Chantal was assaulted or she engaged in some rough sex that she decided afterward she didn't like are two vastly different things. Her subsequent actions might raise some big questions about her motives for going to the police. We've all heard the stories about rape victims who went straight to the police bruised and bloodied, and walked out of court stunned that their attacker was found not guilty because she got drunk or happened to have had multiple sex partners or was thought to be otherwise responsible for what happened to her. I think a good defense attorney can make it look like Chantal sent Nader a thank-you note afterward.
