I have a couple of faceted synthetic alexandrites right now and can get natural easily enough. what's your budget like? there is nothing of any merit i saw anywhere for under $150 and most of the really nice ones were several thousand. I know somebody with a lot of small cooked ones that are real pretty and not so pricey.

I happen to have a really excellent selection of low end material i've been building for years that just got seriously enhanced with a fat pot of mid range items that are already selling well. I turned down a $500 offer on the tourmaline from the first person who looked at it. i paid ten dollars or less per gram on all that tourmaline that sells easily at thirty or forty. I'm getting $4.00/gram for facet grade amethyst crystals i'm pulling from $350 kilos. i get a buck for the A grade and half a dollar for the B grade of that, their citrine and clear quartz all day long and if you're calling the Zimbabwe carvings garbage, you're just a boor.
