Capitulating prematurely means Russia dismantling and disbanding the Ukrainian military, confiscating their heavy (if not all) weapons, replacing the leadership if not just subordinating the country to Russia, thousands of people becoming POWs, imprisoned, or killed, kangaroo courts for alleged genocide, and decades of vassal statehood with no legal recourse internationally.

Make no mistake, Ukrainians are fighting for their future as an independent nation at this point.

By the time any of us could get there Kyiv will likely have fallen. If NATO gets dragged in and we go to war with Russia I'm thinking about joining the military. I have Eastern European heritage and family in the bloc and this is very serious to me. I'm a single man with no dependants and a thirst for the blood of assholes. The possible forecoming war with Russia and China may make Afghanistan look like child's play and has the potential to be the last war humanity will experience.
