Hasn't he had something on the order of eight years to "renegotiate" since his government was illegally installed after the legitimate government that was friendlier with Russia and very lukewarm on NATO membership was overthrown in a Soros/Davos/CIA/EU-backed coup?

[EDIT: Yes, Zelensky himself has only had two+ years as he was only elected in 2019]

And it isn't like this is a new issue; this has been going on since the Bush-era, where there was talk of missiles in Azerbaijan rather than Poland as part of the famed "missile defense shield".

It's not like Russia hasn't been clear for two decades that they don't want more NATO military assets up against their borders. Not that I expect the globalist warmongers to understand anything but their own wants, but I'd think people here would be smarter.

Capitulating prematurely means Russia dismantling and disbanding the Ukrainian military, confiscating their heavy (if not all) weapons, replacing the leadership if not just subordinating the country to Russia, thousands of people becoming POWs, imprisoned, or killed, kangaroo courts for alleged genocide, and decades of vassal statehood with no legal recourse internationally.

Make no mistake, Ukrainians are fighting for their future as an independent nation at this point.
