Yeah that's why I don't mind stuff like The Ghost of Kyiv catching on right now. The odds of him being real (or at least, doing as much damage as is claimed) is pretty slim, but people need real folk heroes to cling to I think personally. Whether that be a catholic saint of dubious origin or a guy flying a plane.

Nobody knows. It's just some Soylent bullshit Ukraine adopted. It's wrong for multiple reasons that have been discussed. Personally I'll call it Kyiv until it's Russian controlled, then back to Kiev. Gotta respect the pronouns after it transitions.
