Translation: There's a lot of fake info telling that I ordered the Ukrainian army to surrender. So, listen here: I'm here. We are not putting our weapons down, we are going to protect our country. Our weapons are our truth, it's our country, our children and we will protect them. Slava Ukraini.

Goddamn the balls on this dude. People gave him shit for being a comedian, but goddamn I wish most leaders in the west had half the balks and care for their country has he has.

Cuba and Russia were trying to set up Grenada as a SURPRISE, WE COMMIE NOW thing and Reagan saw the opportunity to burnish his anticommie credentials and erase a little bit of the shame from 'Nam. If we hadn't invaded they would have sooner rather than later had red stars popping up out of nowhere like this but with palm trees instead of onion domes
Not to mention that it is more than likely that Grenada was going to be a ship off point for the Cubans and Soviets to help spread revolutionary chaos in central and south america, given the absolutely massive quantities of arms and ammunition they found crated up and ready to go at the "civilian airport."

No, this isn't "Die on your feet" this is "Nobody will DARE TOUCH ME because [X]!!!" retardation.

Is it just me or is the average civilian across the world absolutely certain that nothing will happen to them even if they put a paper bag over their head and dance naked in the street during a fucking artillery barrage?
Eh, feels like the same thing to me in this particular scenario. War was basically decided on the first day. What does the government do? All civilians make moltovs and throw them at the Russians! Men can't go out of the country, you need to stay and fight. Here, have an AK, untrained citizen. Make sure one of you gets a selfie with the corpse so we can get foreign aid.
i mean, jesus, what the fuck are they thinking?

This is how people who don't have experience of being under machine gun or rifle or artillery fire or aerial bombing act until they see their first body gutted like a fish by a bomb or shell casing or with the brains blown out all over the ground from a machine gun burst

Soldiers too

They learn get flat on the ground or in some shelter really quick

So you're just as retarded as the other "FIGHT NO MATTER WHAT" dude
How dare you, using a Paul Harrell profile pic when he'd smarter than this
You're not a lamb when you use even a fraction of foresight, not just for yourself but your family as a whole
Ironic bringing up Paul Harrell. When someone tried to harm him and his wife, he shot them in the face.

Now that I have been following the thread for a bit and been seeing the updates being shared. I am getting the same fog of war vibes that I ended up getting during the entire Israel and Palestine spat last spring. Essentially a bunch of conjecture and unreliable information that if anything is composed of nothing but half truths. There is no way that the Russians have had that heavy of casualties, especially considering that from what I understand they have been methodically picking of Ukranian air defences over the last 48 hours. Along with their targeting of any semblance of Ukraine having any form of air ordinance. Not to say the Russians haven't experienced losses, but from what I have seen in the streams, most of the casualties are related to the air strikes, and systematic ambushes of certain troop carriers.
The thing is, it doesn't seem like Russian targeting of Ukrainian air/anti-air assets has been successful despite Russian claims. Now this is just conjecture but it's possible that the US and UK really did have legitimate intel on the Russian invasion and where they were striking and so the Ukrainians managed to move all their shit elsewhere while the Russians hurled missile salvos and artillery barrages at empty warehouses.

For anyone who may find this information useful. Russian hardware are said to use a traditional camo pattern while Ukrainian hardware is apparently using a pixelated pattern. Russian vehicles additionally may just be dark green and use painted letters, such as Z, O, V, etc.

Also good to see that certain brands of military retardation are a universal human quality

Jesus. Just Cause was Panama, and it was a fuckload more than just Rangers and SEALs. Hell, most of the work was done by the time the prima-donnas got there and jumped around flexing for the fucking camera.

Goddamn EUROPE had troops in the first airborne and air assault wave into Panama while 75th and the fucking SEALs were still arguing over who got to eat any snakes they found.

For a level of fuckups, this is more like Nicaragua (remember when we invaded them? Crazy Uncle Johnny remembers laughing at the Rangers embedded up to their waist in mud!

Fucking aye.

Honestly if Russia took an L I don't see Putin reacting irrationally and escalating things. I see him scaling back temporarily, regrouping, making sure everyone understands the assignment and then jumping back in.

The best way to tell how things are going is from the individual posts made from soldiers on each side. The gift of social media is that people are eager to overshare even if they're risking national security to do so. This has been pretty commonplace for most conflicts and natural disasters in the last decade. Social media has given the ordinary citizen the ability to make their voice known and that's why wars begin to get complicated.

This is why China is always bent outta shape about their people on social media. Weibo and Douyin/Tiktok are basically considered news sources to the populace.
