General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I was gonna say I have my copy, but clearly I don't need to bother putting it up anywhere. That was a hell of a fast upload!

Good timing on HoloEN's finish, because that big Kizuna Ai concert is starting now!

Apparently there are supposed to be over 1000 VTuber guests. I assume they sent pre-recorded videos, or it'd be one hell of a feat to pull off.

I'm sure lots of Verified channels will be showing up over time, if you have ytcFilter you might want to set it to show them.

My guess they just got a suite at a good hotel suites are pretty damn big and usually come with 3 beds probably in Vancouver because anywhere else it would be pretty damn late.
Also wouldn't discount a karaoke place or someone's house for this too. Hotel suite or not, 5 girls wailing is guaranteed to get noise complaints from guests in nearby suites.

Yeah they are starting with a bunch of video messages. How long is this concert going to be? With 1000 clips and singing this will take forever.

The off-collab was great. I'm really happy for the the five girls, hopefully one day all of them can come together.

As much as I would like to believe they're all in Japan in quarantine, Kiara's recent members stream pretty set in stone that isn't happening any time soon. She told us not to get our hopes up even if reports say Japan is going to loosen the borders. That all the Management is keeping day to day tabs on it. It's probably why she's making off collab trips with Reine and Ame.

Kinda surprised that so many people are streaming during the Kizuna Ai concert - guess she isn't as beloved as I thought. EOP here

And here's the link for the unarchived part. 14 min to go.
I have a few things to say

1. I was 30 min late to part 1 and Ytc was being shit (also why I couldn’t say bye in either parts) so I’m over the moon there was a part 2.

The was the best stream I have ever seen.Put it on 2 playlists include favorites. The nature of it being an unarchived karaoke, plus how hilarious it was, plus the teetee, AND the significance of it makes it earn it’s spot at #1 for me.

Was using living room TV and had to make sure it wasn’t too loud. Ina quiet and didn’t talk much. Just more excuses to watch again, not that I wasn’t planning on doing that anyway.

2.favorites were

ALL OF THEM. Well I guess I could give a list but it’d be 10 songs. I can’t wait till an all of EN 3D off collab

3. Oh and one more thing. Archive karaokes usually don’t get favorited but this time it did

THANK YOU AME! LOVE these girls so much.

Yeah, I didn't know what it was going to look like logistically until I saw there were over 1000.

Timed a few video messages, they were 30 seconds each. Maybe only some (well-known/high priority) get the full 30 seconds, or maybe a lot of the guests will do their messages grouped-up. Otherwise, 30 seconds x 1000 = over 8 hours, and that's not counting interruptions and, y'know, the actual concert.

This off-collab is insane! I almost missed it, because I really enjoy Ame karaokes but was already watching Korone play Battletoads.

You can really tell how happy they are right now, it's beaming through! The more scuffed they make the songs, the more fun it is. Or like when they were randomly howling like dogs lol.

I don't think they're in a hotel room, purely because it's after midnight and they're singing full throttle. Also the stream is optimized for ultra-low-latency and I'm not sure a hotel connection could handle that, if it could handle streaming at all. I could be wrong, it's certainly possible and the echo does sound like one.
But could you imagine being in a hotel room, watching this stream... then your wifi cuts out, stream freezes, and you can still hear the singing, coming through the wall right behind you?

(I am downloading the unarchived, but so are half the viewers probably)

Ok, as far as I know, Rushia was "confirmed" by Korekore's screenshots to have some beef with a senpai, but whether or not that beef relates to stream time overlaps is purely unconfirmed, right? So it'd take a serious turbo-autist to bother compiling and analyzing the stream times over a rrat, wouldn't it?

View attachment 3019605

From the beginning of August to the end of December, 2021, Rushia has 75 archived streams for a total of 248.17 hours.

In absolute terms, Fubuki had the most stream-hours overlapping with Rushia: 51.59 hours. Runner up is Miko with 47.08 hours overlapping with Rushia. Subaru is next, but far behind with 34.80 hours of Rushia overlap.
But the top two streamed for about 470 hours each and Subaru for 390, and none of them match the description.

So who had the highest percentage of stream hours overlapping? If you guessed Matsuri, pat yourself on the back.
18.45% of Matsuri's streamed hours overlapped with Rushia's. Runners-up were Mio, AZKi, and Mel (14.35%, 13.56%, and 13.12% respectively).

Full stats are here (JSON format, but fairly human readable): https://pastebin.com/xMZNfW7N

All archived streams: https://pastebin.com/iNLFkARJ
The basic channel info: https://pastebin.com/P5t33ZqG

So what does all this mean? ...Fuck all, to be honest. Less than 20% of streamed hours overlapping, for JP talents streaming to a primarily JP audience, is very little.
Most likely, the assertion that part of Rushia's beef with a senpai was about overlap hours could be wrong or just plain made-up.
Or maybe it was about the mystery senpai overlapping important streams, like birthdays/anniversaries/outfits.
Or perhaps Rushia already hated this senpai and so, even though there were paltry few overlaps, they stuck out in her mind from prejudice.

Well whatever, it was fun to put together!

My bad, didn't see this before finishing my stuff. The raw times are in the JSON file if you would still like them, there's a lot of room for improvement and/or trying different time frames.
The JSON file is what I'm looking for. Thanks. I was thinking of making a calendar chart with the streams highlighted. Since you mentioned special streams, I might look at those too.

Some mistakes above. It seems this is actually something of a pre-show roll, 30 mins long and repeating twice. The actual concert starts in about 10 mins. So the 30-second segments during this are perhaps a separate thing.

So, still not sure what the actual "1000 guests" will look like. Maybe they will sing together in large groups, or get like 10-seconds / one line of a song each.

Edit: Ok so they shoved them all onscreen at once in the background lmao.
At the moment you can't really tell who anyone is, but I'm assuming they'll do some panning closeups eventually. So far everyone is dancing, and also waved to her and such, so they probably had a set of actions to do on cues and then send in the video.
I'll have to catch up on the rest of it tomorrow.
