I am sure many have complained about this, but the absolute lunacy of surgeons who think they can feminize a male face by giving it neotenous features (or, the most neotenous features they can accomplish without drilling down so far they hit brain). Female = flattened childish snub noses, apparently. Never mind that caucasian women with strong features also tend to have noses with a high bridge, and shaving down a nose on a "strong" face just makes it look like the person ran into a wall.

What I think happened was, he had a consultation with the surgeon, they looked at a book of possible nose options (including normal, 'strong' female nosies appropriate to his facial structure). Toob squealed in delight, jabbed a thick man finger at the cutest, girliest, most pressable nose in the book and went 'that one, that one!'. And wouldn't be told otherwise.

Tbh I'm not convinced that he went to a full on FFS surgeon. Can you imagine an FFS surgeon taking a gander at that great big hunk of granite face and deciding that — yes, the problem is the nose? Not that I rate the aesthetic judgment of FFS surgeons very highly, but this case is too obvious to miss. Of course they'd point at the jaw. It's his most prominent feature; it marks him undeniably as male. It makes negative sense to reduce the nose while leaving his jaw to soak up more light and focus. You could soften the nose and jaw together to keep the major contours of the face in harmony, but the nose alone? Absolutely not. It's a disastrous idea and any FFS surgeon worth their salt would not have put it on the table.

To me it looks like Olly decided from the jump that he wanted to do his nose and nothing else. (Maybe a little lip filler, but it's hard to tell around the makeup. If he got any other bone work done, it's super fucking invisible and had no effect on his facial movement patterns.) This was something he decided, not something he was advised to do at a consult. And there's no reason to go to an FFS surgeon who's experienced in performing multiple plastic surgeries at once if all you want at the end of the day is a rhinoplasty.

Of course, Olly does lots of things for no reason. He just flew all the way to America for a substandard nose job that he could have gotten anywhere in the world, in many places more cheaply. Why not sign up for an FFS consult, shoot down the surgeon's advice, and demand their services for a rhinoplasty anyway? An actual rhinoplasty specialist could maybe produce a more aesthetically pleasing result, but like... when has this man ever made choices that make sense.

I will say — while the nose is bad, I get why didn't want to shave his jaw. Seems he learned from Contra's mistake and decided not to risk his facial nerves. The problem is, as always, that he only learns from Contra's obvious mistakes, runs in the opposite direction, and in so doing makes mistakes of his own. If your nose and jaw are proportionally linked, and you can't fuck with your jaw, then don't fuck with your nose!! Jesus Christ it's so simple. But Olly has never understood proportion, harmony, balance, etc. as is crystal clear from his videos, so he thinks he's unlocked the secret to doing the surgery ritual without the harm. Well, he's now been harmed aesthetically, if not physically in the long term. Could have just evaded the ritual altogether, but that wouldn't be as affirmative and exciting.

The joke was terrible. Made no sense. No one is prescribing Viagra to an “Abigail Thorn” intending for the woman to feed it to her boyfriend. Like it’s a prescribed medication. NOT over the counter for purchase. It has a name on it. The pharmacist would see who it’s prescribed to, not assume that you’re tricking your doctor into giving you a script and feeding pills to someone else. For someone who supposedly cares so much about the healthcare system and whose parents are both MDs, I’d think the medical jokes would at minimum make sense

I don't know about the cheekbones. They've been gradually increasing in prominence throughout his transition, as he's lost weight and thinned out the fluff of his lower cheeks. Highlight and contour enhance them further. Plus he naturally gets very apple-cheeked when he engages his facial muscles, which is basically all the time.

It's hard to find good comparison photos because he's always changing his makeup and contorting his face (and also because I can't stand to sit through every frame of his old videos again). He doesn't often give a ¾ view without some kind of grimace. And oh my God can we marvel again at how much more balanced he looked before — not that he was ever a great beauty, but at least he had a nose that emerged organically from his face.

If there's cheek filler involved in this, I'd assume he started before January and went about it conservatively. But it's hard to say when there are so many other factors (HRT, weight loss, aging, etc.) in the mix.

As for the jaw, he's always gotten that asymmetrical dimpling and popping of the muscles while engaged.
